Honest question regarding the term "cuckolding". My wife and I have had just a few swinging experiences (including one in Colette/New Orleans) and I've found that I really like watching her please another man. It is one of the reasons I don't like labels. The old English definition is that if a man is cuckolded, his wife has a sexual relationship with another man. In the urban dictionary the meaning has extremes...on one end is the masochistic cuckold who enjoys humiliations, degradation, and other demeaning activities at the hands of his wife and her lover. The alpha cuckold lies at the opposite end of the spectrum and does not enjoy any form of humiliation and often has a direct say in who his wife sleeps with and when. I do the same thing you do, watch to see what they do differently. I also enjoy seeing my wife enjoying herself, and that goes for absolutely everything. She feels the same for me. Really depends on what you want to achieve. Deeper connection can also come from adding someone you both know allready and both feel comfortable with and attracted to. So far in my sexlife, it has helped create the right atmosphere. Though I could really understand if you add a pro, that they will also be really good at setting the right tone and you will not have this possible awkwardness afterwards where any of those existing relationships are harmed... but than again: Communication is key! For me, I was proactive in telling my kids (my kids were adults by the time I was involved in this relationship model) about being in a CNM (consensually non monogamous) relationship. Here's the thing, you can't make your kids accept what you do. You can however talk to them about the importance of understanding that the union between the parents is highly personal and ultimately the choice of the parents. It boils down to respecting each others choices and also for the kids to understand the separation between the parent/child relationship and the partner/partner relationship.
