The hulk buster is approximately 11 feet tall, almost 3 feet taller that hulk, and hulk is about 8'5 or something. I think the marvel select hulk looks good next to him!

I think tough to do and look good because hard to hide the seams and make articulated without looking like some cyborg. Hulk’s main feature are his massive muscles and body shape. He generally doesn’t wear enough to hide those bends. If he does, it isn’t as cool. I haven’t seen a good articulated Hulk figure where you don’t have to kill brain cells to enjoy.

The articulation, quality and paint job are amazing but would be cool if it had the paint job from the comic cave studios one as that looks a little better in my opinion. ThreeZero needs to do Hulkbuster 2.0 Mark 48 from Infinity War that comes with a Bruce Banner figure to put inside like we saw in Infinity War and at the beginning of Endgame. Maybe add some hassle damage to it and make the light up features a little brighter. Also maybe around the same price point as this one. Great review. Just need a Hulk figure varound that scale to pose it with and re create some scenes from Age of Ultron

My ThreeZero buster is due on Friday and I got my Comicave version only a few months ago and it only cost me £37 more. Cannot wait to compare them. 3Z is more an action figure with it's excellent articulation. The Comicave is a better display piece, with more die-cast body parts, mechanized chest action with included MK43, paint scuffs, full range of light up areas and the bonus of articulated fingers and thumbs. 3Z now have got the battle damaged MK43 up for pre-order so a battle damaged MK44 Hulkbuster is very plausible. Hopefully with a jackhammer attachment.

@@cookedit Oh nice, that's really awesome and I bet you are really excited about receiving your 3Zero Hulkbuster in. Not a bad price difference either, I'm in Canada so not sure what the price difference would be in Canadian dollars. Oh, that's pretty cool and didn't know. I didn't know that about the comic cave studios version and guess it's more for display with it having die-cast parts. It's still awesome and both are amazing in their own way. Would still love to see a Hulkbuster 2.0 from Infinity War. That way collectors can have both, especially ones that like to have a Ironman hall of armor display for their figures. I'm sure you'll have an awesome review of yours up as well.

@@cookedit Yes the jackhammer attached as an extra accessory would be cool to make to "Go to sleep" scene display. Would be cool to have the floating thing on a flight stand that sent the extra parts as well. That's awesome and looks like both comic cave and 3Zero went all out on their Hulkbuster figures. I don't have either but maybe one day.

@@persianshah If you ever choose to go for either of them, Toys Wonderland do 12 month installment plan, I got my Comicave version from them and they also do the Threezero one which they have instock. I ordered mine direct from 3Zero so I could get it as soon as possible, but they are sold out on their site now. I am currently paying off my 3Zero Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime Premium figure on an installment plan as again it was out of stock o 3z website, and which is hopefuly due out very soon.

I wonder if another (cheaper) iron man figure would work in place of the Threezero Iron Man Mark 43? Seems like almost any iron man figure that is close to the same size would work. Only complaint, and really not a complaint, is he seems to be a tad too big (I think you mentioned 1:10 scale, so he towers over my ML and/or Mezco hulks.

The Hulk vs Hulkbuster scale actually looks ok (14:39). When you look at the Age of Ultron shot of them fist-to-fist, it's pretty close to the example you show here vs Marvel Legends Hulk.

Is there more die cast on the Comicave version or this one? Regardless, I’ve got this ThreeZero on order. I really love the ZD Toys Iron Man figures, as opposed to the Marvel Legends Iron Man suits, and this will scale in perfectly with those ZD figures.

@@skyfigurefun The Comciave has 75% die-cast body. My 3Z is due tomorrow. The articulation is amazing for such a bulky figure. But for looks, with the die-cast, paint scuffs, light up areas, articulated hands, mechanized chest action with installed MK43 and more detailed interior for it, the Comicave is a far better display piece. But with terrible articulation. I don't need such a bulky and heavy action figure to mess around with so prefer the beauty of my Comicave version version. Can't wait to compare but I think 3Z can do. better.

Wow, this was not on my radar at all. Till I saw the new Mark 46 DLX come out. Then I start looking at the 43. Then I start looking at this 44. And what a great setup with both. And compared with a, cave, this is half the price. So no brainer. We just need a hook to scale. I'm wondering how the immortal Hulk would scale and look

Has anyone tried putting the marvel legends Bruce Banner (from the old 4-pack) upper torso and head in this Hulkbuster to try and recreate the Infinity War scenario? Speaking of which, it would be cool if Marvel legends did a MK2 Infinity War Hulkbuster with a flip top exposing a Ruffalo head.

My 3Z is due today And cannot wait to compare it to my Comicave version. Personally, I think the Comicave is better in everyway in the looks department for display purposes. The 3Z is a better action figure due to it's amazing articulation. But a heavy bulky action figure can become too frustrating too handle. Comicave for display presence, with it's paint, die-cast, light-up areas and mechanized chest action with more detailed interior.

I got mine a few days ago and I have to admit I am disappointed. Yes the articulation is good to make it a better action figure than the Comicave, but it gets frustrating having to keep handling sucha big figure. The paint lacks the detail ThreeZero are famous for. And the overuse of plastic makes it too weak and as a result a lot of bits keep popping off mine when I handle it. The Comicave version is almost the same height and is much better; in materials, sturdyness, paint, looks, lights, hands and more detailed the in the chest and its opening feature. All make it a better display piece, that is what a Hulkbuster figure should be.

@@cookedit well, the first comicave hulkbuster I received came with the entire left leg sheared off at the waist. Sure it looks awesome, but I am terrified to pose it or even move it in the slightest. The threezero hulkbuster should scratch that itch for me

I have had no problems with mine, but like I said my ThreeZero have bits pop out is annoying, especially as it is meant to be posed. I might sell it and see when they announce a battle damaged one, as they have already revealed the MK 43 Battle damaged which is likely made for it.

Deffo! 👍 Looks and presence are more important to me on such an expensive piece. Articulation on something so big isn't as important because it is so heavy and awkward to handle. ThreeZero = Articulation Comicave = Paint, more die-cast, articulated hands, more light-up areas, mechanized chest action and installed Mark 43. And I got them both for almost the same price No contest. ThreeZero can do a lot better.
