To me this is the best action scene in Age of Ultron. Pure, raw, hand-to-hand combat, Iron Man looks genuinely strong in this and the CGI of his armor was still amazing (I'd argue that the CGI of Iron Man's suit got a bit lower in quality from Civil War, and in Infinity War and Endgame). Plus, the Hulk is amazing in that fight, he might be severly nerfed from the comics, but he is a pure state of rage and that fight actually works very well. Amazing blend of action, humor, and more of a dark tone towards the end of the scene and the realization of the Hulk.

IDC Age of Ultron will always be my favorite avengers Movie. It set up so many movies after and the callbacks in Endgame are set up mostly in this movie. Also, Ultron will always be one of my favorite villains, hope he comes back one day, as he should. Scenes like this one are why. "Go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep" lol always wanted to see this fight on the big screen, well done.

4:40 Wow, so 9/11 was actually Iron Man's work. Thanks, Joss Whedon.

This version of the hulk we mostly wanted in the avengers. I understand that yes there’s different versions of the hulk, but with this fight it showed hulk wasn’t gonna give up once he’s angry enough. Even his fight with Thor in the first avengers was better than say his ragnarok version. His fight with thanos wasn’t even close to his fight with iron man here. Yes he was under a mind control but imagine if we saw this version take on thanos, it would’ve been better even tho I still think thanos would’ve won but the damage hulk could’ve done would’ve been exciting to see. They completely nerfed the hulk and buffed iron man in these movies, which in my opinion is backwards. I know that ban was trying to control the hulk but even he knew from the first avengers, hulk should be unleashed and not controlled as the hulk still understands between good and evil

Upon rewatch, I realize this fight was so messy because it’s basically the first crash course test for the hulkbuster. Banner and Stark likely never tested it in a live-fire situation. How could you? Up until Joburg, everything they had come up with had been just theory. It’s not hard to imagine them together in the workshop coming up with these extremely blunt counters to the usual hulk fight methods.

I love how Tony knew he could just throw everything at the Hulk knowing he wasn't really going to hurt him.

Remember when Age of Ultron was considered a mid tier MCU movie, and that it did not really stack up against some of the better ones? Now think of it compared to what we are getting today.

The MCU would be so much better if all the movies were rated R, just like real life...and the actual comics.

actually in one of the ironman comics while hulk was distracted for a bit, he was able to knock him out
