Megatrons mechanical detail seem to compliment the iconic nods in a nice flow. The red looks like scratched meat from a Jurassic Park toy

Always liked the muted metallic sheen of his paint. They often give Optimus a clean glossy candy-like finish that alludes to his vehicle mode, but also softens the robot vibe to feels a bit more toyetic.

I think it's because Optimus outside of the Bayverse doesn't have a metallic flaky finish. Just glossy red.

My favourite Megatron voice is Welker's Prime version: enough G1 to hit the nostalgia buttons but with the sinister menace that G1 was lacking.

Bonus Engagement! That is a delicious amount of cleverly done posery for what is NOT a triple digit action figure covered with the bells and whistles. Makes you want to see what other high end names could do with a smaller scale.

I really wish MDLX releases had alternate faceplates, he looks great with that menacing glare but I'd like to display him maniacally laughing or shouting!

honestly there are some parts of the designs I really don't like, mainly being the heads, I find them to be a bit off, would have liked something closer to the wfc games. Megatron looks especially stunning though

I just wish they'd do this with the DLX charecters instead of just issuing new versions of Optimus and Bumblebee every few months it seems. I think the people at Threezero are obsessed with Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.

thanks! Yeah I'm not sure what the modern flight-able stand recommendations are right now, I still tend to use really old Tamashii Stage arms attached to smaller bases that CanOfBeams designed a long time ago

@Vangelus hey whatever works! I've got a few mcfarlane flight stands. They're pretty nice. Nothing faaaaancy but a friend I got toys from second hand threw a couple in there for me. I think if I want a flight stand strong enough I'll have to rig something myself lmao And this goes without saying but as always, love the content!
