The "cursor flash" is a bug that was fixed for some champs that gained global abilities (like poppy Q, oder Kayn) through it. If it is used too often with Thresh they will fix it here too. It actually works with quite a few other abilities.

Ive also notices that, for the purposes of guardian procing, the lantern affects instantly, like the animation doesn't even need to be half completed and they will get the guardian shield. The second you press w it feels

Another tip for Thresh E, you can flay enemy through the thin wall near bot side, but it is so hard to pull it off, play around in practice tool and find that angle

the flash on cursor is the same bug that sion had with q charge a while back. that got fixed though.

There was a similar bug on Jinx with her zap, where if you could put the cursor right on the center of the champion when casting zap, the animation on the ground that shows the zap direction would be different than the actual direction of the projectil, effectively making it almost impossible to see. And it also got fixed not long after being discovered.

A few more cool thing to know the pull from your flay hits earlier as that is where the animation starts so if you want to stop trist w or other dashes it is better to use the back of your e then the front. If you let the Q pull to times then do q2 r and E it will guarantee a hit with R

There used to be my favorite bug on bloodmoon thresh Back then, you were able to q and b at the same time But when you pressed b on bloodmoon, the skin would always look downwards, so nobody could predict q direction Edit: maybe it still works, i haven't tried in a long time
