Threshold is such a relaxing yet playful and curious tune that really captures the exploration (and maybe mild confusion) of the player during gameplay truly amazing work

I love the playful, rhythmic moments in this section! Especially at 3:33 when the solo flute and the harp play together! Thanks for sharing another great video with us, Austin!

Very beautiful, brings back lovely memories of Journey. I particularly like the percussion, it always seems to have this rustly nature, very gentle and evocative of sand blowing across ancient surfaces.

Ah, I love this piece! I also especially love that in the background of these Traveler As Noted's, we can see you conduct! (I'm the conductor for the Video Game Orchestra at my college, so getting to see a little of the conducting behind the scenes makes my day.) Thanks so much for these!

This really sounds like you have the movie in your head first before recreating it through tunes. It's not a song in itself but I guess that's what a symphony is supposed to be.

I don't quite understand what you're saying here. What 'movie' are you referring to?

Didn't discover journey until hearing about it on pwl podcast. I played through and it's an absolutely beautiful game and the soundtrack is beautiful and makes the game that much more memorable. Amazing job.

Love how all the instruments are listed, bassoon, timpani, violin, and then it’s just, Tina and Kristin.

This is so beautiful, and seeing the orchestrations is its own kind of art

Consistently gives me chills. I’ll never get tired of this one. And a great example of you giving each musician something interesting to do throughout the whole piece. If you pick out a single instrument at any given point, it’s always doing something fun. I’m always trying to imagine how this would sound stripped down into smaller ensembles playing their parts. I’ve decided I want the log drums-vibraphone-harp only mix please lol.

It's definitely core to my orchestrational sense to always make sure the musicians are having fun and have some meaningful parts to play. No matter how "inner" their voice may be

I love your as noted series, but I also like watching more videos of the you conducting and the orchestra playing, like the I Was Born For This video. I assume you're not gonna release any more like that since you're doing As Noted videos for the album already, but if it counts for something, I would like to see them

I typically do what I call "Raw" videos which are just 'fly on the wall'-style glimpses of the sessions. And I'll definitely make one for these too!

I've been wanting to do game music since I listened to many tracks in the Smash Bros. games. And this piece is very nice, I'm willing to save some money for more music plugins and libraries to go with my EastWest libraries.
