One of the best songs ever written in my opinion. Lol seriously. So deep.

Apparently the band doesn't like it much / barely even remember it. They called it their most generic "screamo" song. So weird and such a bummer they didn't play it during the TAITA anniversary tour. I think I saw them play it back in 2004 during a small tour in the spring they did with Poison the well. It was pretty sweet.

@@jacktremper8090 I was shocked too, they said Motion was nice but Eclipse is somehow generic

Artists rarely see the genius in their own work, i became a musician because of thrice. Some of my best work are songs i dont personally like.

Forgot about this one. Such a well crafted song for a b-side.

Man, it's a shame Thrice doesn't like this one of theirs. Those lyrics and tunes are amazing!

Man I wish they would've re recorded that and motion isn't meaning and put it on the revisited aita because Dustin's voice is so much deeper and gutteral than it was when he was young just not as much power but I think if they would've gotten someone to scream with him for both of those other songs that would help a lot and bring the intensity like how they did paper tigers and under a killing moon(the arguably heaviest songs on the album with the most screaming at least)

They just feel that this song is the most generic song they recorded at that time, and they wanted to distance themselves from the "scene." I still think it's better than anything from said scene. It's almost the epitome of Thrice at this time, to me.
