My FAVORITE ❤️ Thrice song. Everything from Thrice is amazing, but Vheissu is on another level. It is still one of my favorite albums and it dropped in 2005. Can’t wait to see them in Phoenix, AZ on 02/15/19. 🤘😍👻

How was the show? I’ve seen them several times, on the Fire&Water tour mewithoutYou opened, Thrice crushed and then Brand New played, they had ZERO business following Thrice. Then they opened for Alkaline Trio on the Earth&Air tour, and again, that must’ve been hard to follow 😂

My mind never put together that the music box tune is derived from Japanese traditional song Sakura. It's just so much faster. But there's definitely a derivation there

When I first heard this (Thrice) song, I was amazed because my mom had a wind-up figurine from Korea with the exact same tune. It broke with one of our moves, revealing the mechanism inside, but I kept it anyway, because I loved how beautiful and haunting the song is. It wasn't until later that I learned that it's a Japanese song, called Sakura.
