Okay, what does the cameraman have against Teppei though?! He's so amazing on this song and they barely show him at all, even during his epic solo from 2:45 onward. Anyway, I can't wait to FINALLY, after 15 years of waiting, see them perform this song live on Monday!

I can tell you why: The director likely didn't know the music, and was trying to catch a big drop when the bridge started, so he stayed on the frontman and wideshots. Once he realized the guitarist was going in, he got a shot of it, but who ever that camera operator was, they were doing a terrible job. director cuts away to other shots, then comes back to that iso (single shot) of the guitarist, but his operator loses control of zoom, or was still framing up, so the director cuts away again. He decides to stay on the whole band now as they have all joined in.

Thrice started off with a genre, but then they kinda unscrewed the hinges on the doors, started remounting. Pretty soon, they were cutting new holes in the walls and by that point, genre started to apply song by song, rather than within even the same album....and "Beggars" is coming sooo soon :D
