As a guy, I felt weird thrifting women's clothing at first, but have learned so much from you! I found a Longchamp belt, a brand new coach wallet, and 3 silk shirts from Ann Taylor, all sold within a week! This is from a Church sale, a Goodwill in Scottsdale and a garage sale, all purchased on the same day. The belt sold for more than a hundred dollars! My girlfriend and sisters give me advice too, but you have such an efficient system! Thank you, Makenzie and keep it up!

I picked up 40 Torrid plus size articles of clothes from someone who lost a lot of weight, for $30, was so thrilled. In one month, I sold only one dress from that pile, which is surprising. No more torrid here, I am torried out LOL

Oh my goodness! It is wonderful to hear and watch you thrifting. It's good to see that you work as hard as everyone else - often it seems as if all the bolo brands just jump in front of you and it's good to know that's not the case (I hope I am expressing myself the way I am thinking) - it's just when I watch you-tubers packing their sales, I often feel as if you all have some sort of magic wand bolo finder! I also LOVE how you were thoughtful about what you purchased. As a new reseller, I find myself throwing everything in my cart; not quite understanding yet that it's quality over quantity. I loved hearing why you passed on items. I also loved hearing how you and your mom talk about what you both were looking to purchase and that you give your opinion to your mom. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge!

I totally agree :) definitely focus on quality over quantity in the beginning and start at the bins or in your own closet so you can build some profit up / reduce risk before hitting normal goodwills or thrifts & paying up for items. for BOLOs I would say focus on feeling the items for good quality fabric & looking at tags (most expensive brands have larger, detailed, better stitched tags)... then reverse-image-google-searching anything you think is potentially valuable. & the brands will build in your mind over time. good luck! it's the best side hustle ever 🙂

Sales have been so slow on PoshMark so far this year ! Too many low ball offers ! I have also gotten very picky about things s I buy ! I’m getting a little burnt out and have been slowing down on my listing, but have been relisting daily ! These videos are fun to watch to see what you are buying .i wish our thrift stores had $2 days .i have found one thrift store near me that has decent prices and our St Vincent has senior day on Sundays so I do try to go on that day ! Items are still 3-5 dollars .

My mom loves shopping with me and I love it too. She is learning the brands and fabric content and is so happy when i tell her “that is an awesome find mom!” Would it be possible if you did a video about how you use keywords in your listings? I use the style tags with my listings but you mention that key words help you sell your items. I was thinking maybe if you did a video of how you list and what key words you use for different items. I learn so much from your videos🥰

lol I totally agree 🎉if I’m not happy to list it , it stays there . I shop a lot each week as well and try to get the best things that will sell fast 😅not always the case of course…I have a large dog but walk him before I go out for the day . No kids either so I think that helps . Just got a bot to help me after 4 years lol …. It’s a game changer…. Love all the time I have now to do other stuff ❤great vid , thx for always teaching me so much through the years ❤

These shop with me videos are helpful because I like to see what you don’t pick up. That helps with knowing when to put stuff back. Your next level is the bins! Hairy Tornado does great bins episodes. They do a lot of editing but the chaos is fun to watch!

Love your shop with me videos. I find good tops that are silk or silk blend but the problem are the sizes I find, they’re either a size xs or sm and 2 or 4 so I always pass on them. I have a few pieces left I’m going to upload but if they don’t sell I’m donating to my local Discovery Shop (American Cancer Society) or my local Food Bank that has a clothing closet. This was a great video really shows the true side of looking through TONS of garments and being extremely selective! Thankyou so much for this fun video! Makes me wanna go thrift! I like how you don’t get polyester! Such a nasty material and snags my hands so I always know right off when it’s a poly product. Very cool your Mom has a store too!! Nice to have a 2 nd set of eyes as well as opinion!!Now when I ship with you (video) it’s always exciting to be like oh ya I remember that pickup!
