In which, admidst some heavy memeing around, I show you how to transform a basic thrifted tee into a cute Brandy Melville-esque lettuce / ruffle hem crop top. This is a super simple method for sewing a lettuce hem with a sewing machine that you can apply to pretty much any shirt with some stretch! Hope you guys enjoy and let me know if you want me to do more thrifted DIY's and transformations!

This kind of curly edged shirts was everywhere in the 90s usually in flimsy polyester stretch. A lot of them looked cute with tiny flowery prints, with curly edged sleeves, necklines and hems. But once you got 3 too many, it's actually a bore. It's like owning one unqualified shirt that's too underdressed everywhere even if they're in the right length or size. But then again, have fun genZs :).
