Jamie…I just love how sentimental you are with family heirlooms. I am the same way, I have my grandma’s apron (and other things) that I just love wearing when I do baking. I also, own my grandma’s “Betty Crocker” cookbook. My favorite way to bake. Using her cookbook and apron. It just makes me feel close to her. Absolutely love it! Thank you for sharing with us.

Jamie, you should photocopy your grandmother’s recipe onto some tissue paper and decoupage it onto an antique looking plate and display play it on a plate holder next to that wonderful sifter. Our upcycled life has some great tutorials on how to do that.

I am not usually super excited about thrift flips but these are my most favorite I have ever seen from all creaters! Those film bookends are just the best and the sifter with a plant looks so good! I remember my Grandma having one of those sifters too -she had a big drawer full of flour and it was in the drawer with the flour. I love how you make sentimental memories/items decor (Tonka truck too)! What a fun video!

Love the 'lamp'! Already have a lamp in which the electric still works, just don't like the shade. Now I just need to get the mesh basket, unscrew the thing on top, place the mesh basket and screw back on. Tape up where light bulb will go, and the plug in part of the cord. Spray paint! Love the basket idea! I have a flat one in which I have woven a wide blue and white gingham ribbon and tied into a bow at the bottom. Currently, the middle is bare and empty. Haven't decided what to do with that yet. You have given me some ideas though, thank you. The clear vase with the nail polish and water is a great idea. Have a couple of clear vases sitting around doing nothing right now. Now to find a bowl that I don't need for food. Might find one at a thrift store somewhere. Have about four within walking distance. Interesting bookends! I like the flour sifter idea! I need to be on the lookout for an old one. Not going to use my new one. I have heard of Thrive Market from some of those I watch concerning Plant based diet. I will need to wait until next month to check into them as this month is preparations for Pesach (Passover). Passover is the most expensive time of year for us. Thank you for sharing all these. Amazing what you can find at thrift stores and what you can do with those items.
