Great video Jamie! My birthday is Friday, the 22nd, I’ll be 59…..ouch! Not sure how I can possible be that age….lol. I rescued a cat after his owner died. She was the sister of my boss. My boss and her family thought it was great for me to take Mr. Mistoffolees (yes, from cats). I remember Claudette (cat owner) telling me all about him and how she thought he had some kind of magic to him. When I went to get him, he was at Claudette’s Moms house, and he ran under her bed. She pushed a broom under and I was on other side of bed to get him when he came out. I picked him up and said hello….he gave me a kiss and started purring! She said, he doesn’t give kisses to anybody! How did you get 1 right off the bat? She knew Mr. was going to be ok and loved, and that he would be happy again. Unfortunately, when my late husband was going thru chemo for stage 4 cancer, I had to put him down. He used to sleep as close to my head as he could get….I sure do miss him, Claudette was right, he was special for sure! I love all of your DIY’s and the dollar tree cooking. Because of you, I did just buy and ate a package of already cooked rice, just had to heat it. I added it to a bowl of soup 2x’s. I think a part 2 to this would be a great idea! I have 5 tattoos since we’re sharing…..lol.

Wonderful thing to do Jamie. Self esteem is hard to deal with but know that after watching many of your shows you have more than you can imagine. I went through it also for many many years. Know you are a good person and you don’t have to prove yourself to anyone. Keep doing what you’re doing because it makes you happy. We ( crafters) adore you. ( btw) I am 84.

You should do this again. Thank you for sharing what you were able to share in this time frame. When my husband died almost two years ago, I listened to my favorite music a good part of the day. That and needing to pick up some crafting to have Channukkah decorations helped get me through the early and rough times. My son and I share a room as combined office/hobby room in our home. It is still a work in progress with two desks, two craft carts, four three-drawer bins, filing cabinet, sewing 'desk' with sewing machine, one metal utility shelf unit, and soon to be one heavy-duty plastic shelf unit to divide the room. My son uses paints, pencils, and crayons as his mediums. I use embroidery, pencils, felt tips, gel pens, crayons, paints, ribbons, yarns, stickers, glass 'gems', wood, glitter glue, plastic containers, and anything else I can work with. I have made containers for my pencils, crayons, felt tips, gel pens, and paint brushes and paint sponges from tumbling tower blocks. Thinking about adding a little bit of color to them using dry painting method to keep most of the wood showing. Currently started on making a container for some recipe cards in which the plastic container for them broke apart during storage for about 12 years. Trying to find those little drawer boxes with the flower, butterfly, and heart cut-outs, but can't find them anywhere. Not at my Dollar Tree, not on their online store, not at Walmart, not on their online store, not on Amazon. They are just the perfect size for tea bags. Need them to make my tea caddy with a place for my Japanese tea pot. Need about eight of them.If I can find some without having to spend big bucks, that would be great. Watching other crafters gives me ideas for things I can do for my home. Again, thank you for sharing.

You are awesome!! This is my second video. I just happened to see a recent video and was blown away by your creativity and your wonderful personality. I subscribed and went your video link and saw this and decided to watch it and get to know you and I’m so glad I did. I really enjoyed learning about who you are and how you got into crafting and that you’re a cat person. That alone makes you a great person! I’ve had cats since I was a little girl and have volunteered and fostered with rescue shelters over the last twelve years or so. I was very sorry to hear about your Chloe Bella. I currently have a Bella Rose and a Penny Princess. I had a Handsome Rob for thirteen years who was just a year older than Bella and they were so sweet together. Snuggling all the time and grooming one another. It was very hard on her losing him and it about killed me. It’s very difficult losing our furry companions. Anyway, I also love your pliers! I have been using a bulldog nipper? I think that’s the right name. I have terrible arthritis and I’m only 53 in July and I take all the help I can get when it comes to tools likes these. I’m going to try out the ones you talked about. Maybe they are not as heavy on the end like the bulldog ones. Well, I look forward to watching more of your videos and since I “know you” a little more it just makes it more fun. Thanks for sharing. ♥️🙏🏼

Hi Jamie 👋! We have the same sleeping position! I've always slept on my side while partway on my belly and one of my cats used to love to lay on me starting way to early in the morning. He was 20 lbs and loved to grab into my shoulder & back with his nails. One of the cats I had the closest bond ever with used to sleep nuzzled between the crook of my back and the bed until I left him to go into the hospital to have my 3rd and last daughter and once I got home he never took up that sleeping spot again. But we stayed the best of friends Up until he passed away in my arms (while staring into my eyes) at aged 18. He passed of old age and we had been together since he was 6 weeks old.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I'm 57. I've done community theater, where I've been on stage, but done more backstage, especially props, which I love to do. It fulfilled my need to shop and decorate. I've also been an extra on 3 movies. And, I make jewelry, which I sold at arts & crafts fairs and comic cons. When everything started back up in 2021, my husband had a stroke and I couldn't do anything and still haven't. He's since retired and wants to move, but it's taking a while to get the house up to the standard he wants before selling it. I started Better Help last year, and it's helped me a lot, especially focusing on my issues that I can control. I'm nervous about doing another craft fair, and I appreciate that I'm not the only one who gets nervous about taking chances.

Jamie, I thoroughly loved this video, so interesting to learn more about you! I hope you will follow up with a Part 2! You were telling about you having your sister set on your feet and fly her cross the room, it brought back my memories of doing the same with my sister! We had separate rooms but we most of time slept together and talked and laughed, well we decided to do your stunt, and our room wasn’t just real big had the double rolling closet doors, any she set on my feet and I shoved her, well her toe hung on that foot board of the bed and she sailed right through those closet door making the loudest racket when it caused both doors to come off roller and fall into the closet!! Daddy n mother came running because they had told us to quieted down and get to sleep.. we were beside ourselves giggling and laughing. Needless to say, we never tried that acrobat again!!!😂😂❤
