i never take songs seriously, Ma'dam! i listen to them because of how they're sung and if i can sing along! this ... "song" is just a headache to me! the lyrics are awful, the instrumental sounds like a 5 year old playing the same cords on one of those old piano toys you give them but regret cause it's noisy and annoying, and don't get me started in why it turns non-religious people away. this is just to get the kids into "being hip for Church!" even though it's a chose to join or not! look, i don't believe in God (unless he appears to me, slaps me in the face with a solid gold fish and says "i'm god!", then i'll believe it, but until then, no), but i follow what my dad taught me: be nice to everyone, be polite to your elders and, of course, respect your parents! i don't need to believe a being that may or may not be real to know those things. if your Religious: good for you! but don't try to be "hip" to get more followers.

While this is a pretty cool remix, it's talking more about how good you look in church than about the true redeeming love of Jesus Christ. Being a Christian is about a lot more than just social appearances and doing good deeds, guys. Being a Christian is about your personal relationship with Jesus and how you use his never-ending love to help others. It should be about how amazing He is, and not about how amazing we think we are. So although you guys are obviously very talented and have wonderful voices, you should probably rethink the way you write your parodies before you put them out there in the name of God.

The funny thing is, despite the crudeness, in its own way, the *original* song is rejecting the rampant materialism at work in the world today. The rise of secondhand stores is encouraging. It says something about people's state of mind. Having new shiny things is not only not necessary and a sellout to status and money grubbing businesses, it's actually a drain on God's creation.
