Julia Crisan I have a few tips about Japan: 1. Do not blow your nose in public as it is considered rude. You can sniffle all you want or just find a private place to blow your nose. 2. Do not tip the waitress. It will make them confused. So that’s 30% of your money saved. 3. Please bow when you say thank you. Especially when your given a gift, and apologizing. 4. Take gifts with both hands. Even when handing a gift. 5. Do not say Baka (Idiot) as it is considered VERY rude. 6. Wear a surgeon mask if your sick. 7. You will have to eat all of the food on your plate. If you think you can’t finish too much then order a small meal. 8. Do not stick your chopsticks in food (like rice). Those are used in funerals. Don’t hit your bowl with the chopsticks either. 9. Please respect elders (Especially disabled people) on a public transport. If they can’t find a seat please give up your seat. 10. Do not use your phone on a public transport. 11. If you have tattoos please cover them. If your tattoos show the Japanese will think your part of a group called the Yakuza (A group a gangsters.). 12. Shower before entering a hot springs.
@jackcurtis14845 жыл бұрын
Gacha Gamer I don’t understand tip number 8 can you elaborate on that please?? What do you mean sticking your chopsticks in food??
@jess61555 жыл бұрын
@@jackcurtis1484 if you're going to put your chopsticks down to drink water, check your phone or do something else, lay them flat on the edge of the bowl, don't stick them upright (food side down, holding side up in the air) into your rice so the chopsticks stand upright by themselves. It's rude in Japanese, Chinese and I believe Korean culture as well.

Well is your torso small? If so then you can just buy shirts from there but I don't do no bottoms or overalls though.

Your vanity looks awesome and sparkly! Wow. Also the clothes you got were soooo nice. I especially like the blue vintage dress and the goth dress! The colorful adidas that you didn't buy though, I know some people who would KILL for those shoes. I actually like them even tho I always keep my shoes/sandals monochrome. I understand the urge to just bUY EVERYTHING because you're thinking 'what if I don't see these again' 'what if this is the only chance I'll get to buy them' and they're such a steal too so that's really tempting. I wanna thrift in Japan soooo bad :(( Definitely in the future! There's so many treasures in thrift stores, seriously.

That sweater that you read about Cape May and the board walk! It's sounds like Cape May New Jersey in the US! I grew up going there every summer, such great memories!

love your energy and style. So many cute things in Japan. My son was also there for a year, 2019. Had I known so many great thrift shops there would have sent him off to buy cartons of clothes for me.

In Denmark we have designer thrift store I was actually too jealous when you pulled out the blue nike t-shirt. It was so awesome

(Også fra Danmark, halløj! Skriver dog lige på engelsk så andre evt kan forstå det) The best thing though is when you find designer clothes in regular thrift stores for super cheap! (Not necessarily Gucci, Louis Vuitton and other super super high end brands but still designer brands) I have gotten Louboutin shoes (120 DKK), a Stasia dress (20 or 30 DKK), a Marimekko dress (80 DKK), Malene Birger pants (maybe 40 DKK), Wood Wood pants (40 DKK), a Wood Wood shirt (35 DKK) etc

Also a dane here. I'm really curious as to where these designer thrift stores are located? I live in northern jutland in Sæby so I'm not sure if it's because of my location I've never heard of these stores or if it's just because I don't get out enough🙈

You could do a vlog on getting Japanese skincare and make up then you could do a haul and a make up look with what you got, the next time you go of course. Much love😊❤❤

Wow that stuff is amazing! So cute and great prices! Where I live our thrift stores are nothing but local school branded stuff and everything else has stains and holes. The shoes they sell are completely worn down are sold for not even half the brand new price. I need to go thrifting in Japan!
