The reason the tax isnt added already in USA is because the tax is different everywhere. It's all pretty close but slightly different. Plus some things don't have tax and that can also vary from state to state. In my state there is no tax on clothing but in other states they do tax that

"Just" a little FYI. The JUST Water you had with dinner on your day of vegetarian food, is from a local natural spring-fed preserve where I live, in the Adirondacks in New York State (USA). Their bottling plant is just a few minutes' walk from my house. LOL The company was actually founded by Will Smith and his son Jaden. 😃

As a Mexican who lives in Canada and is vegan and is in high school, food is very boring and I can’t eat much stuff I used to because now I’m on an even more strict diet because I’m only getting sugar from fruits and no salt if possible so then I can lose weight ;-; I really don’t like it but at least I get one day off every week so I can have whatever I want that day (oh and I have to be vegetarian two days a week because if I don’t , i will start to have problems with my body, y know what I mean??)

I'm a vegetarian who went to Japan with a vegan friend. We used the happy cow app and it showed us heaps of vegan places to eat, it's doable. Also did cook maybe once or twice for purpose of eating in, but overall was easy enough! :)

Pretty sure eating eggs is not considered vegetarian because they do not eat any animal products at all and last time I checked eggs are an animal product. Maybe it's just the I u.s. that does that but eating eggs defeats the purpose of becoming a vegetarian. Coming from a long line and large family of vegetarians and vegans and raw diets

I’m Japanese and I absolutely love natto, the best way to eat it is to put raw egg without the white in, then mix it a lot, put a little bit of soy sauce, mix, then put it on top of rice and eat it together!! I eat it every morning, you should try natto once again! ( put all the mustard and mentuyu that Kame is the package too 😉 )

I went to Japan and literally all breakfasts/lunches we had were at 7eleven. 7 eleven in Japan is on a whole other level of deliciousness in their food like even better than some "proper" restaurants I know also as long as I remember pretty cheap and you had where to sit, where to heat up the meals, and you could even buy clothes or Disney tickets there, man I wish I could have a 7 eleven like that where i live

For vegetarian food, the fruit sandwiches are really good, inari sushi, soy milk, seaweed or umeboshi onigiri and their pastries. Btw kimchi isn’t usually vegetarian because they put fish in the seasoning.

Kimchi CAN be vegetarian, I often ask before trying kimchi in different occasions because of allergies, by now I always had good luck with it being vegetarian (and it was from japanese chefs) So you should be cautious, it CAN be vegetarian, but always check out the ingredients i guess

Wow, it's really amazing to me that you can eat so well in Japan with so little. The quality too looks like it's way better than cheap food here. Here in the USA it would be a real struggle to eat that well. You definitely would have to skip a meal, probably lunch.

As a vegetarian when going to places like japan I often just accept that a lot of the time fish sauce is gonna be used in the sauces of things and just roll with it

@@84rinne_moo a lot of Japanese food is Japanized versions of Chinese food, and does call for fish sauce. Same with Korean food. They all kind of shuffle food culture around a bit, to the extent that none of them claim to be the origin of Ramen.

@@ashneehs 「すみません、アレルギーがあるから、これの中に(insert allergen here)がありますか?」 You can literally just ask if the food item you are interested contains the thing you're allergic to. Even at the convenience store. They will help you find food you can eat if you ask, but you have to be proactive about your food allergies there, because they aren't a super common issue there.

I’m from the US. We have a lot of imitation crab often seen spelled “krab”. It’s a fish called surimi that has a similar texture to crab. They add flavor and color and use as a cheaper substitute for real crab.

Actually surimi isn't a fish, it is a mix of cod pulp and carbs with colorants and thickeners added to it. It is still fish in a way but surimi is more like a preparation 😊

It still has a very small amount of real crab though because I have a crab allergy so it’s the only way I can eat crab,but if I eat too much it still makes my stomach hurt because of the tiny amount of real crab...and it’s usually crab flavored pollock not surimi

@@Caerigna lol, it's a staple in Australian breakfast for kids. There's canned spaghetti that goes well with toast, it's diffrent from home made spaghetti though it's like the McDonald's one. It's common to have spagetti and meat balls cause it's simple, add garlic bread and a salad and your all set.
