I admittedly gave up on thrift stores a few years ago. I’ve had almost zero success at them, but this makes me want to get back in the game!

Love your videos. I want so many of the records you find that it motivates me to do the thrift store digs. After all these years I got zero. Some one that works there gets them or a friend of an employee gets them.... Love that Piper lp. Billy Squires was in the band before he went solo. Can't wait for your next big fine.

Great video! I love when this happens, and I have to say that if I scored all of the time, it just wouldn't have the same thrill. Thanks for sharing your discovery!

Great deals like that are exciting, but when there's more in the back and they won't let you see them, that can make you crazy.

Outstanding intro. Breaking out the TMOQ / Mighty Blimp pressing from London 71. Not the best sounding Mighty Blimp boot by any means but definitely one of the hard to find ones. Being a collector of their boots for many years that is one that does not show up at your local used record store too often. If not ever. Wow, some find sealed records for fifty cents. So that Novells album is a sought after gem? Congrats on finding the Eden's Children. I guess your hunch paid off. I will try to remember to look in the places that you would not expect someone to leave their albums. {smile} That's how to dig. Excellent finds. ~ Rob/Boston

That Steven Ambrose/Gypsy Moth album is one of the best overlooked early 70s songwriter albums - just beautiful of its kind. Bread meets Tim Buckley?

Absolutely killer man! That Novells is way cool! And Eden's children is a fuzzed up beast! Love that record. Hahaha! She did look like Fallon!! I spied that Other Half at the beginning too... You willing to part with that one? :)

My best thrift store find was Jazz Goes to College (1957) by Dave Brubeck and The Delta Sweete (1968) by Bobbie Gentry at the same time-both OOP. Another collector saw what I had and we struck up a conversation. Ninety percent of the time it's garbage here in Ohio: Herb Alpert, Mitch Miller, Andy Williams, Andre Kostelanetz, Lawrence Welk, Christmas records....boring shit no one wants.

I had a Zeppelin bootleg I bought back in the early 80s. I sold it about 12 years ago. Sound was terrible. Double lp. Maybe I should have held onto it.

That Wackers is an alright Bar Rock band, a U.S. transplant to Canada, more famous from their later incarnation as 'Moxy' who had some genuine great Hard Rock tracks.

Great video. I’m always trying to him my oval thrift and strike out. I’m upset that saviors has now upped their price on vinyl to $4.99. Not cool!!!

I've got 3 original copies of the Novells still sealed.

The real question is why would someone stash a 50 cent record?? lol I would of sold the Novells too, it's mostly cover versions produced by H.B. Barnum. That label has some real cool funk and soul though. Reminds me of the California Poppy Pickers. Greedwill is worthless here, they way overvalue/price all vinyl now starting at $2.99 and the other day they had a common Elvis record priced at $19.99 lol
