Peace and blessings! This was an awesome story, from "13 cents" to "10 years in the making." That is a prime example of having a passion for doing something you love. I someday hope to join the ranks of record store owner, and your video makes it feel like its possible. We have an autistic child as well. So, sharing that with us is even more of a motivation to pursue my dream. Thanks for sharing and much continued success.

Will you be making a video of personal monsters you scored for yourself down the road? I would guess the person who bought the auction got his money's worth in jazz rarities alone.

which vinyl is a better-sounding one? I prefer black vinyl unless there is a Clarity or VR 900.

Talk about the good old days - I found a nice copy of Freak Out! at a yard sale once for 10 cents. The guy had just lowered all the record prices from a quarter to a dime. Don't think that'll happen again.

You bought 12000 vinyls.. If the avrage saleprice is 25$ mand the margin is 30%. You made at least 50k in two days work... probably more.... nice..
@noblerecordsКүн бұрын
Haha that’s some wild speculation 🤣
@matrix101redorblupill4Күн бұрын
@noblerecords I have sold Thousend and thousend of records from my shop in Norway. My avrage is about 25...and margin 30. I don't think you are a worse business man than me.. probably better. So I don't think my assumptions it's that wild...

Why do you & to be honest most Americans that I watch, keep the vinyl records out of the sleeve? I never do that, it doesn't affect the cover & it protects the records, leaving it out like you do is increasing the chance of vinyl damage, whenever I go to the states & go record hunting it amazes me how many damaged lp"s I've found because of the way they are kept.

Three copies of that Overkill with hype! Good to see a smattering of metal records there; that Sanctuary "Refuge Denied" particularly rules and has a Megadeth connection. How do you make an offer on so many titles? Just a dollar figure per box?
@noblerecords2 күн бұрын
No, I went through every box and counted the value the best I could, then I wrote my offer on each box, then added them all together

Incredible Score! I'm sort of curious on how that extensive of a collection can be priced. I doubt he had them pre priced, so it must have been, check each box as you fill it, to get a fair estimate. It's just so many!🤔🧐

Wow... I still get upset by only seeing the cover of 'hot in the shade'. The story to that is that I was with a lady and we used to dance to 'forever' in the living room all the time, looking in each others eyes and believing the lyrics. Sadly it wasn't forever...

Did you happen to come across any by the band Free?
@jacekcobos66222 күн бұрын
I always order noble releases even if they're just exclusives, I've been waiting for this release since it was first announced and to get it for such a low price compared to alot of record lable reissue is amazing. I appreciate dillion, and everyone involved for bringing life to music that may never have gotten a chance and for bringing it in its most purest form, making it accessible, it's for the love of music and that's what we need in this community.
