THRIFT w. ME + TRY ON - Bin Diving for the FIRST TIME

Here is my first time Bin Diving at @SFGoodwill where I scored a vintage Michael Jordan Jersey, a REAL FUR COAT, the Y2K sparkly top of my dreams and more for PENNIES! It was a treasure hunt from the thrifting GODS and so much fun!
Highly recommend donating at least ONE thing when you thrift to not only keep your closet tidy and exciting, but also to keep the thrifting ecosystem “TIGHT LIKE A TIGA”.

A White genuine fur coat and the Anne Klein blazer are my favorites. It seem that the bins can be awesome but totally afraid of it because it looks so overwhelming if you doing it alone. You found some real nice gems. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

I loved what you said about gender neutral fashion. It's actually my favorite thing about the bins! I'm trans non-binary and for the longest time, I could not shop at the typical thrift store without feeling dysphoric going through the "women" and "men" sections. I used to frequent the bins in Oakland and would love digging through piles of clothes with no labels. I haven't been since cocovidvid...but I miss it so 😍😍

Listen oversized Harley or any vintage tee and the dad shorts is what is up. Throw on a colorful pair of Nike air max ones with white mid rise Nike socks. Hair claw. Rings. Like no questions asked. I even do a small shoulder bag. Gender norms can fuck off because I look GOOD.

As a friend here, just wondering what your stance is on fur (obviously you bought that coat post sale) but I' wondering why you are hyping up fur on your channel, there are so many other wonderful alternatives for warm coats using materials that don't harm animals. Since you're a thifter, can you discuss the issues around people buying up clothes to sell and marking them way up, so as to make them unaffordable. Also, why don't you repurpose some of your finds and stop being a consumer. Even though you're thifting, you seem to have way too many clothes. Even if something is cheap, it doesn't necessity make it a good buy.

I'm not sure if I agree with the scarcity mindset of thrift store shoppers being responsible for the high prices. And you do realize lots of resellers are people of color, including my own daughter. I'm more apt to blame the overpaid, greedy Nonprofit Industrial Complex executives for the issues. Why does capitalism always have us biting at each other like this? After seeing the mountains of goodwill unsold clothing at their bins, and knowing how HORRIBLE for the environment new clothing can be, I thrift in peace when I like ✌as I have been since the early 70's.

Love this vid, love these finds, and love you. But the Goodwill praise in this doesn’t sit right with me.. I 100% believe you’re coming from a genuine and pure place of a love of thrifting, but Goodwill is problematic and exploitive in so many ways while operating under a facade of charity work. They pay many of their disabled workers an unbelievably low wage (like, as low as literal pennies an hour..), and have been widely criticized for unsafe work conditions and unrealistic performance quotas. Definitely not saying you shouldn’t be shopping there but I just think we should keep this in mind and advocate for their mistreated employees. Again, love you and so jealous of these finds!
