My local Value Villages have a senior discount day on Tuesdays. I think they use that day to clean their shelves of old merchandise, because I've found that there isn't much new on the shelves on Tuesdays, but Wednesdays can be phenomenal. So, if your thrift has special discount days, I might consider shopping them the day after.

Thanks for another great vid! Other than finding no comps, when do you decide whether to check comps on a second platform (ie the Kate Spade silk polka dot shirt you found)? I never think to do that, I just default to Ebay comps.

I very rarely check comps on other platforms. I've developed a small list just from experience over time of brands that seem to do better on poshmark. They are typically higher end brands.

My local thrift doesn't allow resellers to look at the new racks. I actually have video of them allowing people to look at them and then if they know you're a reseller they threaten to throw you out. It's not too hard to tell the resellers especially if you go there frequently 😢

@Aliymarmarplus2 I've recently heard that 3 of the employees have booths at the flea market. Also, there's a full time reseller that shops there everyday. He said the employees are constantly offering to set things aside for him for a fee 😡

I loved this video. I feel this is very realistic in that we may pick up a few pieces or an armload! For me it's usually a few here and there. I get frustrated when all I see is large hauls meaning 20 to 30 things someone got in one place even the bins near me don't yield that. Also the volume on mic was difficult to understand in your last store. Maybe background noise.

Good video, great tips. My best day to thrift is Monday morning at opening time for this one honey hole that I have. I’m usually waiting on them to open the door no joke. I brunch around 11 and ya the mic sounds good! Hope you have an excellent vacation!!!

Sometimes. In those cases I still cherry pick and look for indicators of quality instead of going through every item.
