Today I thought it would be interesting to do a walkthrough my local Goodwill with no cuts/edits while inside. I found a couple things to resell too!

The gray gravyboat is Russel Wright 'American Monder' in granite gray by Steubenville. Made 1939 to 1959. 🙂

The “spiritual head” is the Buddha. The berry bowls were half off - purple price tag - so maybe worth paying $1.50 for the 4.

Just started watching your videos. I appreciate that They seem more realistic to actual Goodwill shopping. I watched some Thrifter’s who go to Goodwill’s and they’re always coming out with a cart full of fabulous finds which seems to not be the norm really

At 13:40 those 2 yellow Mikasa bowls are RARE and can get up to $30 each. at 15:03 you were looking at the black and white Mikasa dishes, but on the bottom I spotted the Studio Nova "Adirondack" pieces (Southwestern style). Those sell well again now. Those 4 pieces would have been an easy, quick profit online.

I freaked out when I saw the port Meirion plate...it's my everyday dishes! But yikes!!! Mine wear so well and I put in dishwasher...can't imagine what they had to do to ruin it like that!

I sold Mikasa recently.. it was a mid century pattern.. it went for over 300... I'm thinking that was still too cheap

Going Shopping wit you is nice. Goodwill has gone through so much change, people are watching KZbin videos and finding out what items are worth, so people are more aware and not letting go of of their stuff without checking What it’s worth. Goodwill has up their prices. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

The clear dish with silver poppies is made to honor US soldiers who died & are buried in Flanders Field in Europe. It’s a ww1 cemetery. There’s a beautiful poem written about Flanders Field by Col. John McCrae.

Those copper molds…I think everyone in our neighborhood had them on the wall in the 60s. I never heard of anyone baking in them. My mom used them as Jell-o molds.

I would have picked up those Votive frogs. They are Indiana glass company and they are vintage. Not super high but you could have gotten $25 for the Pair.

The prices of goodwill are ridiculous Michael go to Macy's here in Indiana. They did away with our color of the week. Our senior discount on Wednesdays an hour once a month 50% off discount. What's this world coming to😂

The E & R stamp on the berry bowls indicates that company has been chosen by the royal family of Great Britain to make items for them. Mostly because they MUST be of very high standards.

I really enjoyed this non-cut/edit walkthrough. I truly learned a lot from you, about vintage glassware particularly. I buy a lot on eBay, but I'm in a country where we don't have vintage mid-century modern glassware. As a result, I have purchased products with chips that I did not notice as I did not look closely. You are a wonderful source of great information! By the way, good call on the ashtray, it seems that it doesn't fetch much on eBay. However, it does look cool 😎
