The cow bells were used in Austria to decorate the cows when they came down from the mountains in the fall after spending the summer there. They had parades of cows in the streets all decorated. Not sure if this tradition still exists but I saw it back in the 1970s when I was a kid and traveled there. We used to come home with a million cow pictures!

Im a born and bred Southern California girl. I moved to Wyoming in my late 20s for 6 years. I hear you on the cold. The first day i was in Wyoming it was 30 below lol. I do miss the fun of the first snow but not that cold.

When our bins store was short on shopping carts, I bought a laundry basket with wheels at Aldi, attached a dog leash, and voila! Instant shopping basket. I used it till my bins store got new carts.

Handsome bear/leopard. I used to collect bears. When I was a child I had probably close to a 100 stuffed animals, but not the ever popular teddy bear (except Winnie the Pooh). I think that's why I collected them.
