That be jeweled denim blazer/jacket! 😂 That is the style my mom wore in the 80's and early 90's. AND, guess what!! I inherited all of her blingy hillbilly fashions. They're all in my closet. I break one of them out and parade them around town when I'm missing her.I also wear her fringed red boots with them. 😂They make me laugh and surprisingly boost my mood.

I love your thrifting and clothing try on hauls! My favorites were the sweater and the bold printed blouse. I have an idea for a video. What if you let us send you one piece of thrifted clothing to try on. Then you can keep the items you really like and donate the rest to a women’s shelter. I’m sure some would be great, some hilarious, and some awful. But all fun!

In my youth, I worked at a Fashion Distribution warehouse. We would pack orders for tons of "recognizable" retail stores. If we didn't have the right amount of a certain size, we were allowed to take off the size tag of one that was one size smaller or one size larger and do a "switch" with the tags...I can tell you that the Sewing Susans that worked there were always busy.😂My moto, of course, is, Never trust the tags.. always try it on! (unless it's only five bucks at a thrift store😉) Love your show 💕

OMG Misty! You were wearing the St. John's Bay sweater in another video and I was thinking "Wow, I love that sweater!" And I started wondering where you got it. So you can imagine my surprise when I saw it in this video! LOVE! I guess I like a little yellow in with my gray. It looks fantastic on you. I also like the blue button up shirt with the gold flowers. Great haul, and I agree: used clothes definitely have some life left in them. There's really no difference in vintage clothes and thrifted clothes in good condition- they just vary in age and in price. 😊

Hi There, I love Torrid Jeans and I have experienced this issue once and awhile. Most of their jeans fit great but every once and awhile I get a pair like these. I think they are a brand that you have to try on at the store and make sure you don't get a weird cut. Love all your videos on both channels.

Torrid makes great clothes! I love these videos - Clothing thrifting is my favorite. The blazer is incredible. I did have blazers like that. I wore a lot of blazers back in the 2000s. And I am in Interior Designer! I love you in bold prints! You sparkle! Rip the knees out of the jeans and they should pull up. They also stretch out about washing. They look nice.

Misty, what cute finds. I found JC Penney's St. John's Bay women's long sleeved scoop neck and v-neck shirts online for $5.99 each in solid colors during Thanksgiving week. In the store they were $12.99 with a very limited selection when I visited Glendale, CA. Sorry your Penney's closed. I also found great deals online at Belk. I live in Palmdale, CA. We do not have Belk stores. I found this store when I visited North Carolina last summer. It's fun to visit thrift stores in San Diego and Los Angeles, too. I love your videos.

I miss JC Penney’s outlet store. I live in Columbus Ohio and we had the best Outlet store for years. People would come on chartered buses from all over to shop Penney’s outlet store. I do know that Penney’s is online.

Misty sweetie. We have JC Penny right there in Clarksville in the Greentree Mall. Plus everything is on sale. Try a size 17 in jeans. They odd numbers work better for gals like us. Always size up on the sheer ,quarter length sleeve tops. Or blouse. I call them blouse's.

What a fun fashion thrift and try on. Cute blazer, shoulder pads do a lot for a girls figure. I miss them. Sweater and printed blouse are definite winners. I wear leggings and a tank thrifting so I can try on the clothes over them modestly. I shop the men's section also, especially for flannels and sweaters.

Our body shape and size is very similar, and I have found that the high waist and straight legged jeans are the best for a slimming look. I find the skinny jean accents the our heavier areas. Love your other choices!

Both of my younger sisters are thrifting queens. Lol My baby sister has a store on eBay, so she's constantly sourcing. But my other sister shops for herself, and she finds the best stuff! She hits the blazer section too! I have several pairs of torrid jeans, and it's really inconsistent on how they fit. My problem is they are always too baggy in the thighs and butt I loved this video, and I am now subscribed!

Love that you are thrifting plus size and sharing, as i dont see that very often on social media. Also i wear Torrid jeans. They make different cuts/styles. Certain ones fit my body style better than others. Also they can loosen up as you wear them throughout the day. I always wear belts with my pants.

I used to wear only the Torrid high rise skinny jeans. One day they no longer fit! For exactly what you're saying! It's like the legs are made smaller than the top part and you can never get them pulled up and feel like they stay! You see a lot of torrid new with tags at the thrift store because they don't allow returns on sale items so a lot of people get them and can't return them so they just donate them. I really love that bag! Awesome find on the Blazer!

I am glad you are looking for new and bold items you usually wouldn't. The flower blouse looked great on you and so did the blazer, I also liked the sweater. I like high waisted pants too, but being a senior, I can't see myself in skinny jeans. When I accidentally bought a pair, I could barely get my big feet in the bottom of the pant leg. Bahahah.. I would like to see more shopping and trying on of Goodwill cloths. We cannot take things back to Goodwill, once they have been purchased. I don't shop there much because here in my area the prices are ridiculously high!
