@@Dvrgrl yesssss!!!! We are going to some consignment stores that typically have furniture. Then probably changing handles on some things I already have. We are going to try to get mainly secondhand but whatever we can’t we will probably get from Ross / TJ maxx because she is only here for a few days.

There are great KZbin videos on getting specific stains out of specific materials. Grease + silk and go from there.

yes! I learned about adding a little vinegar to the wash with silk. It makes it come out much softer / shinier.

Dawn dish detergent will get out all grease and oil stains without harming fabrics

Came here to say the same thing! As a mom and wife to a construction worker I use Dawn ALL THE TIME. Put it directly on a stain, let it sit for about 5-10 mins, scrub and then wash as normal

@@angiepeters8730 @melissarow8998 yes!! I LOVE dawn. For non fragile fabrics I mix it with oxiclean. I haven't stain removed silk in a while so I wasn't too confident on what to do.
