Don't be afraid of silk. Usually you can machine wash (stick it in a mesh bag if you are worried). Hang it dry and iron on the correct setting to make it soft again.

Good morning, I’m a first time viewer….. also I worked for about 3 years at a little thrift shop, I found that I absolutely never look (anymore) at size tags… but the item itself. Different brands, styles and “Made in….” have different size specs. I have found some of my best quality and favourite items without looking at the size…. but the pieces themselves… !

I got my makeup vanity at the Goodwill 30 years ago for $2. I have refinished it and passed it down to my daughter and we're now waiting to pass it on to her daughter . Best family heirloom

I wanted him to poop a egg 😂😂 so glad you trust your mom in the clothes..I had to shop for my sister recently because she had knee surgery and gave me a chance to update her look and she loved what I pick out from the thrift (kept within her guide lines of soft material and was able to bring more of her brightness to her outfits of her skin tones..she trusted the process and loved what I picked out. Found it easier to shop for her than myself How about a Mom/Daughter Challenge viedo.... She picks out some clothing for you and you pick out clothing for her in the thrift store *don't have to buy them unless you want to of course, But to see what each other thinks would look great or update each others wardrobe???
