I think the prices are ridiculous! I feel like they are greedy most of the things are donated to them for free. So people with lower income of people who like to buy shop environmentally because lots of ethical brands can get pricey. Even if they purchase for resale what does it matter to the company? They are still making a profit. It’s really sad. I’m glad my goodwill and the Salvation Army (now closed:(..)have a general price no matter the brand. Like sweaters are always 6$ tshirts are $3 dresses are 6.99$ ect. I found amazing pieces for $3. At my Salvation Army. I’m talking about vintage adidas windbreaker, and someone’s harley Davison collection. I even found a Christian Dior silk top for only $1. I’m so sad they closed because of Rona. :(

At a time when most KZbinrs are telling us what to buy, buy, buy, AND what wonderful gifts they have been GIVEN by sponsors and are now re-gifting to all their friends and family for Christmas (that in turn we should actually BUY, BUY, BUY for our friends and family) YOUR CONTENT WAS TRUE TO YOUR VALUES AND A BREATH OF FRESH AIR!!!!! I might sound a little bit jaded, but it is sometimes laughable to see someone hawking another piece of Ana Louise jewelry (while wearing a stack of necklaces, bracelets and rings at an AMAZINGLY REASONABLE PRICE of $48 and up); Dossier Fragrances (Perfume Knock-Offs); entire “hauls” of FAST FASHION BRANDS such as: H & M, Princess Polly, Aritzia, Madewell (jeans that start at $120), Lulu Lemon (where leggings start at $120!)-just to mention a few that are touted and pushed endlessly by KZbinrs who literally say EVERY TIME that they “would purchase them with their own money” and then rave about them as if you CANNOT POSSIBLY LIVE WITHOUT THESE ITEMS THEY ARE “OBSESSED” WITH!!! Do I sound jaded and “over it”? Well, it absolutely irritates me how thoughtlessly these young women make their viewers feel badly about all the things they “have to have” and simply CANNOT AFFORD!! As a result, there are so many young people who go into massive debt for some fast-fashion, trendy item that they will become unhappy with immediately because their favorite KZbinrs are on to their nest obsession! It breaks my heart watching these “perfect” INFLUENCERS creating unobtainable tablets for young people around the world! As if vanity, materialism and the next “sponsor” are obtainable by these young men and women around the globe!!! Absolutely heart-breaking!!!!!! On the other hand, at least the clothing MAY end up in a Goodwill where I can, and do, purchase my clothing! Your Thriftmas comes at the time most people are going broke! So..... Tommy H sweaters (in the US) run $70 and up. Even still that is used, and given to them free. There may be a strategy to their pricing...mark up sought after brands to have on the racks longer (till sale).

The prices at these thrift stores are really high to me! In so many videos of people thrifting the prices seem so high. I think I'm fortunate to live in an area where they are pretty low. Cuz man I love a good deal! They mark up prices on certain things but most stores near me always have sales or certain tags that are half off for the day. I usually only buy the items that are half off unless I really like something.

So sad this Thriftmas series is over! From what you left behind in the trift shop I liked the green and pink Kate Spade dress and the pistacchio Gap turtle neck. What you bought I liked everything. The brown bucket hat is so pretty. I just bought a camel colored woolen one and I love! The cup sealed the deal. You really have a zebra trend going on there Jenna!

That’s not too bad for Tommy, although maybe pricey for a thrift store - the one I have is a really soft cotton knit red v neck, and I love it. Sometimes the value/price is more about the quality of the individual item, not only the brand.

I agree that the the TH is overpriced for a thrift store. You can find a new one at TJ Maxx for that price. The quality depends if it's from the outlet or regular store. However, on the website the sweaters range from $50 on sale to over $200.
