Oh goodness your hair is adorable! Taking a 7 hour trip through the Rockies to the Denver area for 3 Dr appointments due to needing a total spine reconstruction, my 30th surgery after a head on collision. Watching you now and on a daily bases helps me so much so thank you! Good luck! 🙏🏻🌺🙏🏻

Omg my mom had that green plate set when she got married! My grandmother would add to her collection every year for birthdays, Christmas ect. She said those were her favorite pieces. Im on the look out for those in the wild! What a great find!

That pattern on the plates (14:21) brought back so many memories of my mother. We had that same set, and I remember enjoying oatmeal in the bowls and dinners on those plates. My mom passed away when I was 10, and now that I’m 52, you can imagine how such a deep memory just resurfaced so vividly. Thank you for sparking that moment.

I think that wood thing was a note pad . You put a roll of machine tape in the slot ( the bobbin was missing) and you feed it down behind the little piece of wood so you can write on it.

The wooden double notch thingy/ paper roll went into notches/pulled down through the bar/ you did your shopping list etc/ tore it off at the bar & started over. Mom used hers regularly. Hello to sweetheart Joshua- he’s so tuned in. Elizabeth

Yes, my mom had one that she used for her grocery list. The roll hung on a dowel at the top, then the end of the paper went in the little slot at the bottom so you could pull the paper down and then upward to rip it off and take it with you.

I watch tons of thrifters. I post my thrift finds on Lemon 8. Recently found your channel and I binge watched all of your videos from the latest to the earliest. No offense, but I liked your first one the best. No talking just music overlaid and you showed every item including price to perfection. You didn't chatter the whole time saying the word "cool" about everything. You didn't sit in the car after doing your haul and saying "Does that make sense?" Nope! You were at home, relaxed and showed us your haul. IT WAS GREAT!!! I wish you would do them all like that. Love your finds. Keep it up. Also, I removed candle wax by putting them in the freezer overnight then they just pop out the next day.
