hey loves!! hope you enjoy doing a bit of vintage thrift shopping with me :) this time around, i really wanted to take you guys to a new thrift store that i've been loving here in brooklyn and also show you some winter bits that i styled into outfits for y'all! i realize i didn't have that many coats to keep me warm in my wardrobe so i went ahead and did some shopping specifically for that. because i was always so adamant on how much better thrift shopping would be in brooklyn compared to manhattan, i realize that i've been ignoring an entire world of thrifting! lol as cheesy as that sounds... basically said: it's a lot less picked over here and i have been loving it. hope you enjoy the vid!!

Ever since I’ve been watching your channel I’ve gotten more confidence to really wear what I want to. I was in a really emotionally abusive relationship for 5 years. I was not allowed to wear make up, tight pants, mini skirts, etc... thankfully I’m out of that and with someone much healthier for me. ❤️ but I still had a fear of wearing certain clothes like mini skirts because of my ex and the things he would say when I did. BUT I see how well you layer your clothes and how confident you look in the things you love I finally felt brave enough to wear a cute mini skirt (with tights because we are covered in snow) and I was so happy! I loved the green coat, the blue plaid scarf, and the colorful parka! When I first started thrifting I came across a parka just like that but it was a solid light blue color! I sadly don't have it anymore, but seeing you with one brought back memories.
