Throughout Europe, with absolute number 1 the Netherlands, wild crossings bridges are found. Love the two of you on the road. You indeed complement each other. Rich. Go to Emaus. You love it there, France has such gorgeous pieces. All your four drawers were gorgeous with the oldest oak as sweetie.

I would love to see more of your thrifting trips! The furniture is beautiful and so unique, it’s cool to see what’s available and what the pricing is. Would even love to see more of the scenery or what you got for lunch, maybe that’s weird IDK. This might be the closest I’ll get to Europe, so feel free to show it all on the shopping trips! Thanks for bringing us along!💖

I think Chris tried to hide his enthusiasm about the trip, but it was fun to hear his idea for pieces. He seems to be an excellent balance to your bubbly personality. One of my first pieces I bought was a small mahogany 3 drawer bow front dresser that was in excellent condition for $50 here in Tampa. I don’t usually pay that much but it was the perfect size to be my nightstand because my bed is taller. That was the piece I really learned about bleed through. We were stationed in Germany and I bought a large demi-john bottle at the Amsterdam flea market in April 1969 so I miss living overseas so please keep recording these buying trip. Our other overseas assignments were Seoul, Korea; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Cuenca, Ecuador.

I saw your other video about you and your Husband brainstorming on expanding your channel, and I am so happy for you that he is so supportive of your work. The fact that you have established a business, are the lead parent (since you are home) and do all the video/editing is just amazing; and in another country while supporting your husband’s military career! Glad you guys support each other - and nice to see him a bit in your videos. I wish you all the best in your expansion!

I SOOOOO get the opposites thing. And the military bearing. My husband was a pilot for the ARNG and a police officer for 23 years. When people first meet him they say "he's so quiet!" NOPE! That's just how he is with new people. He has to get a read on you before he opens up. And then he'll talk your ear off if it's a topic that excites him. Our son is the same way. I would always say 'he's a man of few words' until one day he replied - "Mom, I talk plenty. I just can't get a word in edgewise with you!" That shut me up - for a little while anyway! 🤣😂🤣😂

So as you can probably tell I am and have been binge watching your channel for like a week now! lol I just want to comment to let you know I appreciate all the time and energy you put into brining us all these awesome videos! Like I have said before I am new to this sort of thing and have found you through a search on KZbin after a neighbor offered me some out dated but solid pieces of furniture. I am lacking furniture to be honest because I just moved to TX leaving all my belongings behind (I did bring my kids though! lol) So basically I am starting over at 48! I left an abusive husband and it has been THE best decision I have made in a long time! None the less though back to the furniture.... ( ADD moment!) I have done lots of mixed media art but nothing like furniture make overs! But I have sure learned so much from you! Honestly I can even use your painting techniques like your blending in my artwork! I wish I could post pics of my first piece I finish following your tutorials to show you! I guess I could just email you pics when done? It's gonna be so fun now turning my house into a "home" with original pieces of furniture! Who knows if I can get the hang of it and get actually good at it maybe I can even start my career over too!? lol *** How long have you been redoing furniture? Do you have a video talking about how you got started? I love hearing stories on how ppl chose to take leaps of faith and start their own businesses or how a hobby turned into a successful business or career.

You reminded me of how much fun it was living in Europe Crys! I was right there with you analyzing every feature of the pieces you looked at. Back then I was very lucky to have a friend who taught me a lot about what to look for when shopping for furniture (and other things) and to look carefully at the details. The "creepy" handles for instance-in my opinion- were not original to the piece. I also appreciated the animal crossings they have over there, it pains me to see so many animals killed by cars. You're going to have lots of fun shopping in France and Germany. Thank you for taking me with you and for the memories!
