If you go back to that same goodwill I’m pretty sure I saw a bisque kewpie doll right above the matchbox toys, if goodwill hasn’t priced it too high! I love that sight. Many years ago my husband was stationed at Fort Carson and we lived in Colorado Springs. I could see Pikes Peak out my kitchen window. I've always said if I moved from home (PA) Colorado would be where i would go.

My Mom used a glass tray that size, very similar pattern, for Christmas cookies. She always made 10-12 different kinds of cookies and would place each in its own section on the platter. It was so beautiful you almost didn't want to eat them, lol. Thanks for that great memory.

I purchased a download from Etsy. It only cost a few dollars for the pattern and then I purchased the thread etc. A very easy pattern to follow but I did add to the face mask as I wasn't happy with the look. Cross stitch doesn't have to be boring or traditional that's why I love it .
