Hi Yvonne. I just wanted to let you know that the soldier ornament with the blue sequins on it was actually handmade. I know this because as a kid my folks used to make them and others from kits they purchased from a mail order company. They used to make them up and resell them. They are hard to come by.

Hey Yvonne, I cannot wait to see what you create with the goodies you found this time out and about. At around minute 34:58 you show what you called a "flocked dear". When we were kids we got some bunnies at Easter made out of that same flocked plastic. Each one was full of "Raisinetts" and when you shook them a couple of candies would drop out of their booty. I've thought about those a million times since then and know darn good that they'd never get away with making them these days. I'm just wondering if you've seen anything like that in your time shopping. Thanks... I can't wait for the next creation session!👍

I love going to antique malls! There were so many goodies that I would have picked up. As you well know, that $5 box was a steal of a deal along with those bags of santas! I also collect santas but my collection is no where as great as yours. I agree that those candlesticks are beautiful. You found some great things. TFS.

I have an antique turn around light with all the colors they put in front of the old trees back in the early 70’s!! I’m thinking about saleing it for $300 I’ve seen them go on EBay and other places that’s been in bad shape and all for more.i love seeing what you find good.

Oh my, that 1958 Christmas calendar. That year was my second Christmas on earth and I awoke on Christmas morning to see Santa had left me a teddy bear. I remember the datails of the morning like it was yesterday. I still have that teddy. You are restoring more than memories in your vlogs, you are restoring the feel of Christmas.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen an elf mug. This will have to be a new collection. Loved the white cabinet. Perfect for your Christmas decor. Now that box with Shining Brite looks so real. I was just at an estate sale! Found an Italian glass tree topper in box for $3, and a box of miscellaneous ornaments ($3) and it had a set of nesting wood ornaments with a disk for a stand! Have you ever seen those before??? Painted with dancing Santa’s. Lots of cheap plastic tacky goodies oh I was in Heaven! A California Pottery green oblong bowl that I filled with gold satin thread ornaments❤ so much fun found! I might pop back in tomorrow to see what else I can spy! It was REALLY crowded!

If you haven't seen a Canterbury Cottage video you should look at the one titled '10 almost free Christmas decor DIY ideas using common items from around your home and yard'. She has a free printout of a lot of different shiny brite boxes that fit on a small matchbox box. They are so cute and I thought of you when I saw her make them. Thought you might be interested. She is also as fun to watch as you are, so there's that!
