Hi nateesha Salvation Army had some interesting treasures a lot of newer things I liked the witch cup and the unicorn box the spider was cool can’t wait to start decorating for Halloween my kids love it lol the brass tray was nice maybe used for lotion or perfume for the bedroom always injoy watching take care

I can't believe how big your thrift stores (charity shops in the UK) are - they are huge 😮 ours are just regular size retail shops on the High Street - maybe some larger shops on retail parks but they mainly sell furniture - near me there are some nice large antiques and collectable shops which sell loads of vintage british made tea sets and tea pots and whatnot but they are not for charity - cheap though as there is so much of that stuff here in the UK - enjoy your videos - very relaxing and informative 😊

Linen's and things went out of business around 2009. Does Wendell sell the stuff that he finds? Last time I went to salvation army I got a vogue doll.. And a brooch. That store does the aisle colors too.

Hi Nateesha, Just wanted to ask you a favour please, if you have time. Ok, I am not good at tech stuff and don't have a Smartphone either. I use an old Tablet to get on the internet but camera not functioning and can't afford to update. So here is the situation. I have this old clothe cross body bag that I love and maybe bought it new at either a Kmart or Wal Mart about 8 or 9 years ago. There is no label on it anymore so I don't know who made it. I have a friend stopping by tomorrow who does have a Smartphone but he is not really tech savvy. I want to ask you, how with his phone he can look up this cross body clothe bag, (it has a red & white floral tropical design), it is very worn out now, and I would like to see if anyone is selling it.) I know it helps of course if you have a photo of the item you are looking for. My friends are all seniors (like me) and even if they do have a Smartphone, they don't know how to take a photo of the item and how to try and find it. I don't have kids, so really don't have anyone to help me. I know there are a zillion cross body bags at the store but I just really LOVE this old one I have and would like to find the exact one again if I can, Thank you. P.S. Haven't been able to access Google recently on my old Tablet to look it up as to how to research looking up when trying to find an item. I don't have a Smartphone. i

Hi Suzanne, the only way to look something up is on google, or some other search engine. If your friend has google on his phone you can put in the details and something similar might pop up. There is also an option on the google app to take a photo, it’s located on the right hand corner of the search bar. It looks like a camera. Click on it and it will open up a camera, point it at the purse and it will automatically show you similar images. If there is anything similar it should pop up. I hope this helps! 😊

Hopefully I will find this cross over bag somewhere. 😊😊😊😊 I think my friend will be able to look it up on his phone tomorrow. P.S. I notice that you were looking at some Halloween items. Is there such a thing as vintage Halloween items and can you usually tell that they are vintage? Seems like most Halloween things at thrift shops are from recent years and I don't even know what it is that you can tell that it is a vintage Halloween item? My parent's never bought Halloween items when I was kid growing up in the 1960's.
