Spend a long time at a thrift store? I find myself realizing two hours have gone by without my noticing it if it’s a large thrift store! I also go back and forth through the aisles because I’m sure I forgot things and I check the bottom shelf a couple of times, great hiding spot for pieces someone wants to come back for. Then there’s the other departments besides the hard Goods/housewares - linens, electronics, shoes, jackets. Great video, love your treasures.

Your comment about your elephant looking happy reminds me of a comment I got in a thrift store. Your videos have opened my eyes to items that I had not always looked at before. I pick up more figurines, etc. now. Well, in line at check out, the young lady in front of me turned and smiled and said, "Your things in your cart look so happy!" That day I had yellow and red pyrex, a hand-painted little monkey, some Christmas salt and pepper shakers, and some swan figurines. I like to think that maybe she was having a bad day and my cart of happy things made her feel better!

SueMe oh I hope you are right. It’s just the summer weight comes from really good stock. They can also saturate the linen before setting the c pattern, they will know whether or not the heft will be ok before going all the way. For some fake shops it is a badge of honor. As an aside, I was mentioning it to a friend and she noted that Estée Lauder did a cross-promotion with Coach and they were deliberately a lil off so they could not be mistaken. That are also now being doctored.
@suemeonyoutube5 жыл бұрын
@@Voirreydirector I have a few of my own Coach bags, so I know the feel of the fabrics. If this bag is a fake, someone went to a whole lot of trouble on it, especially since this particular style is not unusually expensive. Everything that's supposed to be there is... And for $8, it's worth a chance. Besides, I'll probably just keep it for myself, so it's not as if I will be passing a potential fake off onto an unsuspecting customer. But I really appreciate the info... :-)

HEADS UP SAFETY ALERT on those Lane chests. Children die in these every year because they play hide and seek with them or think it's fun to hide in them, and don't realize the lid will lock them in with no way out. If someone doesn't realize it and let them out, sadly they can suffocate in a reasonably short timeframe. Always remove the lock on a Lane chest. DENBY pottery stoneware is made in the county that i live in Derbyshire England its very good quality and made to last forever more, its quite expensive even the brand new stuff, Much of Derbyshire is very pretty picturesque countryside of rolling hills and beautiful landscapes with many villages that typically have stone built cottages and the bigger market towns usually have huge old 18th and 19th mill buildings that would have originally been work houses for weaving lace and fabrics during the industrial revolution. Look out for the other pottery made in Derbyshire ROYAL CROWN DERBY its more like fine china hand painted some pieces are rare and collectable.
