I’m curious what girls with a smaller waist should do since they only go down to a size 29 in men’s? I distress and refit vintage Levi’s for men and women, women being more recent and I’ve ran into the issue of not knowing what to buy for girls with a size 26 waist or so without having to alter the waist and hips a crazy amount

I worked at a denim store for 7 years and surprisingly the neck trick doesn’t always work. There’s also a forearm trick (from wrist to elbow is your “waist size”) that isn’t reliable either.😅

I love your videos! I live in sf and recently hit up Ross and found some 501 levis but they’re a size too big and baggy in all places. So I just gotta get them tailored. Is there any advice on what to look for in a tailor? Can it just be any tailor? Thanks ❤️

Ahh amazing!!! That's the best!! Honestly, I'd head down tot he Levis store and ask them if there is a denim tailor they'd recommend. They don't have to know you didn't buy them there, but since their LEVIS I'm sure they'd recommend a denim tailor. But, if not... any tailor will work!! Just tell them where you want them taken in.
