I love the entire room! I got the exact same dining set at the thrift store! I stripped the entire thing, beat it up and stained it dark walnut. I just happened to find the same chairs in the new stain at goodwill! I love it so much now

Your work is lovely art, but nothing like the farm houses this old lady saw. The kitchens we're often "shacks" built around the well pumps. Rough wood folks, no curtains either. Plain scary where the slave/servants worked. So you've created something special.

that heavy brown shelf you hung looks like those old timey ones in a barber shop the holes is where each patron had their own personal soap cup, the bar is where a small towel folded would hang under each cup. so pretty, it looks great. one thing....have you thought about panting the handles of the rolling pins a fun color with chalk paint? they would look like an cool almost floral arrangement and put just a bit of color to the corner cabinet. wonderful result.

Very talented and quite an eye you have! Tip.. you can wash the dropcloth with bleach and it will lighten to a perfect creamy white and soften up beautifully. Everything is so soft and pretty!
