Very nice. The German porcelain dinnerware you purchased is an excellent brand. I had a beautiful set with bees and flowers on it that I gave to a young newlywed couple that bought a chair from me before I moved to Florida. I did kept the bowl and platter. I love the jacket it will look so cute with a colorful muffler scarf. Love seeing the cats.

Thank you! Yes, Iris is periodically scratching her ear. It heals up, and then some time goes by and she does it again. I've changed her diet several times (eliminating certain ingredients), but nothing is entirely resolving the problem.

HBC is Hudson Bay Company, a very old and renowned Canadian company, founded 1670. $20 is a very good buy they are expensive. And reversible. Great find. Looks good on you.

The stripes inside the jacket are iconic to Hudson Bay. Years past probably many years past they made beautiful wool blankets with this kind of stripe. Read about Hudson Bay Co. from Canada a very old company. I remember my aunts having these blankets and now they are very expensive as they are probably almost or are antique. I was fortunate to receive two of these blankets as gifts from their descendants who didn’t appreciate them.

I always enjoy your watching to see what wonderful finds that you managed to get on your explorations. I had collected salt callers and depression glass for many years. Interest in both of those things was sparked by my mother’s depression cake plate and poinsettia pattern pitcher and glass set. I was gifted my grandfathers salt cellar while on a visit to Sweden in 1963. It was well over 80 years old at that time. While I no longer collect, I still love old and beautiful glass, pottery, and dishes from the past. I’m sorry that I didn’t get to see you on the day that you were in Cheshire. I live about half a mile from the Starbucks and Goodwill that you had visited.

HAHA! No one is ever going to buy that chicken cooker based on my description. I also liked the apple baker that I wanted to use to store my jewelry. (I tried it out last night and it worked really well - for baking apples, that is!)

The white coat is gorgeous. It probably would have been more than $20 at a Goodwill in the Twin Cities (Minnesota). Prices have gone up here.
