I finally got around to making over an old jewelry box I thrifted a while back! Here's my step by step process of fixing this thing up!

It looks so nice! Just a tip tho you could add a little pocket to the necklace rack so your necklaces don't dangle and possibly get caught on your rings when you close and open the box.

You might be able to use short finishing nails to attach the necklace rack to the lid of the box, depending how thick it is. :)

I LOVE that contact paper! I am shocked! Contact paper usually looks so tacky (no pun intended) like awful fake wood grain, but this actually looks like aged gold leafed wood! 😍

I'm so glad you brought new life back into that! I have a similar one (not in as bad of shape but similar style) and it's dated to the late 50's early 60's. I hate seeing older objects getting trashed and you have to wonder where they came from and what all they held at one time.

I can't help myself, but sometimes you sound as if you're totally annoy and don't really like to tell how it's working. Maybe because you pronounce your sentences ending with voice going up instead of down, if that makes sense? Just my feeling. You're still awesome. :)
