Thrifted Room Makeover *Christmas Edition* Cozy Christmas Room

In today's video, I share with you how I gave my old office a makeover and turned it into a super cozy Christmas room using mostly thrifted, secondhand, sale and clearance items as well as repurposed pieces I already had from years past. When the holiday season passes, I will be using this room as my Craft Room, which I am super excited about.

SIMPLY STUNNING !!! What a gift you have for looking at an item and turning it in “magnificent! “. That table.... brilliant! I could list many of those items and add brilliant! I can related to thinking something will be an easy venture only to have it turn into a PROJECT .... most times “lunch NOT included, “. LOL!!! And boy can I related to half lite trees! I took 1,000’s of lights off an 8 ft tree that still looked incredible but the lights finally just simply stopped. It took me a day and a half to cut them off... I think half of the needles were on the floor or stuck to my skin were I had cuts! Not for the faint of heart! Our youngest daughter was given that tree! I’m older and I do a 4ft and 3ft trees now... and 20 some other smaller lite trees. I do miss the BIG TREE though ! Sherry and Misty are amazing! What a blessing to work with your daughter and vice versa with your Mother on their items! This Christmas Room you have created is just what a person would think a “ Christmas Room should look like!” Magical, inviting, warm and stunning !

Your home is beautiful! I did a room at low cost one year. It was the upstairs playroom. I decided to make it more of a family game room. I got a couch from a lady who was just going to throw it away. It was a soft blue grey color and I loved it. I found a papasan chair on the curb. And my coworker sold me a beautiful cushions for only $20. Knowing her she paid a lot more for it. The table and the rockers and all the accessories cam from yard sales. Now it was no were near as gorgeous as your room. But we loved it. The think I loved the cost the most. I know I didn’t spend more than $50 total. This was all done back before youtube was a thing so I only have pictures somewhere. I no longer live in that house. Currently my husband and I are in our downsized home. And we love where we landed. And our new little home. We have many projects to make it special and ours. Of course everything is thrifted. Even our yard decor. Just last month we found two outdoor wicker style rockers lows carried for $600 at a pallets sale for only $200. The outdoor throw pillows were a yard sale find for only $1 each. They are in our new outdoor gazebo. That was a gift from my father in law. Maybe I should do a video on it. So years from now I’m not wondering where the photographs are. Keep thrifting. As it impacts your live in the present but will have a huge impact when you are retirement age. You are so talented. Your home is so inviting. The kitties have the right idea.
