Anytime you print with an inkjet printer if you’ll pop it in the oven at 175 for 15min it will set the ink. You can do plain paper, tissue paper, whatever. It works really well. ❤

You can also use a warm to hot iron on the paper. I use parchment in between. In earlier times servants ironed the news paper so the ink wouldn't smug off on master's hands or gloves.

All these projects are absolutely beautiful, and I love them. But I absolutely adore the way that basket looks. I have honestly never thought to do antique wax and then use white wax, but it gave that basket the perfect , simple, aged look. Beautiful

Spraying the back of any paper you want to decoupage onto a project, with acrylic clear sealer, it helps you make sure you don't have to worry about bubbles or wrinkles in your project!

I've had my eyes on that bird print for a long time and I love what you did with it. Is that frame you used for the wreath the same one you showed uh s several weeks ago and asked us for ideas? I remember suggesting a wreath, as well as others, too. It turned out beautifully! My only suggestion would be to add some kind of other element to the bottom right corner. Even a Christmas tin lid that looks vintage inspired that you add some paint or wax to. Then secure it along with a little more greenery to the wreath. A pretty sort of shabby bow chiffon, muslin and lace would look pretty, too, with the tin or just bow and greenery. Your call even as to if you add something at all. I just know that our Lord and Savior, Jesus, who is always with us, has been carrying you and your kids over these past weeks. I am sure you are aware, too. What a blessing! Love you! ❤

There are very rough moments where the pain is paralyzing but I get past it. We had a miracle happen this week. We were in dire need of a new roof on our home and friends of his and community members got together and donated their time and service in 20* weather and put the most beautiful roof on our home that I've ever seen. I'm just so blown away and grateful ❤️ love you!

I’m confused about printing on rice paper, other people say to print on the smooth side 🤷🏻‍♀️

Guess you could do it either way. The textured side holds in the ink to give nice rich colors and helps to adhere the ink so it has less chance of smearing when applying a tip coat. At least that's what works for me ❤️ Let me know what you think when you try it.
