I love it! My favorite was the open shelves. The thrifted pitchers and sugar set mixed together along with the canisters adds charm to the kitchen. The way you have the shelves decorated allows each piece to have "center stage."

I think this is the earliest I’ve ever seen one of your vids! I’ve mentioned this before, but I love that you have real plants. Your Pothos looks healthy and happy. I have 3, one is enormous and covers my entire dishwasher and hangs down the sides. You’ve done a wonderful job making your lovey home looked real, lived in and inviting. I lean more toward minimal than you do, but I’m not a minimalist by any means! I guess my style is a mixture of vintage and updated because that’s what I am! 😊 We live in the north and are I inundated with snow and cold, so I’ve kept winter up. A couple garlands, some fir, juniper, spruce sprays, deer, candles, etc. With you being in Texas, it makes sense that you’re veering away from that and going neutral for awhile.

Hi Robin, Your kitchen looks just beautiful the way you decorated in between winter and spring. I think it’s hard for those of us who live in the southern part of the U.S. to know how to decorate in the winter after Christmas. I am still trying to figure out what to do. Of course, it has been cold here in Central Alabama so far and it is expected to be in the teens at night and highs in the 30’s next week. I wanted to mention something to you about old glass and even ironstone, when I started collecting amberware and old ironstone from the 70’s and below I found out that many of the items have lead in them (sometimes a lot) and we aren’t supposed to use them for food items . Amazon has testing kits that you can check for lead if you are going to be using them for storage or eating out of them. I didn’t even think of this. 😊❤😊

Hi Robin, love those green canisters & cups! I am enjoying keeping it simple this time of year. Come mid February I will add some taupe, blush colors in & go full on spring probably mid to end of March. You may already know, but if you ever wanted to change the look of your backslash or countertops there are some great peel and stick options on Amazon, etc. Plus they are completely removable and cheap 😊 there's nothing wrong with what you have but just FYI. You seem like me and like to change things often. Blessings
