I totally agree with you that not everyone should own a black blazer and a plain white tee. I prefer a black button down to a white one any day.

It seriously drives me nuts how so many people now are like "finally finding my personal style! 😍" and it's just a capsule wardrobe full of neutral basics and office clothes. 💀 This whole thing was started by minimalists to be practical, it's wild that it's been transformed into a trend or that anyone is acting like this was their true style the whole time (until they move onto the next trendy thing in a couple of years of course). 🤦‍♀️

exactly! if you are struggling to find a personal style then going to neutrals/minimalism is not gonna help you lol

Some people build a capsule for the week. So you don't have to limit yourself to a certain amount of pieces, especially if you already own alot of pieces. I think you can be alot more creative with your outfits.
