I had several paint projects to do today. One was a chunky 70’s pine coffee table. Its natural wood that I plastered DIY chalk paint onto sanding much of it off then applying a dark stain over the entire piece. Its gorgeous now. I had to paint a shelf, distress a small side table, paint a frame for a specific painting and paint and distress a very ornate medium sized mirror. All I have to do now is put a finish on 3 of the items and Im done. These pieces are for me and a vacation rental we own. Ive had all of these things sitting in my stash for years. I have a nice shop. Time to start using it to make some money. Small furniture is so hard to come by anymore for a decent price.

I’m impressed you can back that trailer in the driveway. I’m an occupational therapist and I’m trained to notice body mechanics. You squat and lift with your legs consistently, but I’m concerned about the twisting you do with your back when moving the furniture sideways. Please stop that. Step and turn your trunk with your hips/legs as you push / pull the furniture to protect your spine. 😊. You are young and can take it now but over time your spine will accumulate problems. I've never done an assembly line with soooo many bedside tables but out of my experience, doing several projects together speeds up the process a lot. And the pieces don't have to be of the same type - if I need to prime a coffee table, a dresser and a chair with the same primer, I make sure all of them are ready for the treatment. In this way the process and the cleaning are much faster as you doing it only once. Good luck with the bedside tables! 😉

Very interesting experiment. Can understand why neutral colors are ideal for bedrooms - they're calming & peaceful. And more grown-up compared to brighter &/or primary colors. Although, as you probably know, adding a touch of black, brown or other darker (or lighter) paint will tone down or mute colors to less jarring shades :)
