I gotta say finding your own style is so freeing and it gives such a boost. I've never liked what i wore in the past, it makes me cringe just thinking about it. In 2022 i really started to update my wardrobe one by one. Every time i bought something new, i threw old ones away and it felt so good! Also i just threw away clothes i knew i would never wear (a tip, if you're hesitating about keeping a certain clothing, throw it away, don't think about it). I've had depression and anxiety for years now and even tho this wardrobe update won't heal me at least i feel better going outside wearing clothes i really like and feel comfortable in! Happy New Year 2023 everyone!!

I avoided bangs because of the many things people say (hard to keep off your face, hard to grow out of, gets oily and sticks, have to style them every day, frames face so it looks bad on round faces, etc) and as an oily person w a round face and no desire to do my hair every day i was TERRIFIED!!! but this year i cut them myself after graduating and they honestly don't bother me at all!! I discovered that 1) i like the face framing 2) They don't go crazy in the morning w my hair type and 3) i don't mind how they look when they get oily so it doesn't drive me crazy if i can't/didn't wash my hair. I did the light type so not much hair was dedicated to them but honestly just go for it, hair is all about experimenting since it can always go back to its original stage

I recommend going to Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿! It has a TONE of thrift stores, pretty beaches and castles/rly pretty churches + England is right next to it so you could travel there aswell, honestly the UK is a pretty cool place to visit Also I understand the wanting of trying to simplify your style, im also doing that this year! I am a fellow oily skin haver and I have bangs! the best thing for me is to do my skincare, DONT SKIP MOISTURIZER, dry shampoo just my bangs if they get oily, and dry them with curlers in!!! using a little mini bang straightener also helps me with curling them and keeping the hair off of my face 🥰🌈 if you decide to get bangs I think they would be so cute!!! thank you for the video and happy new year!!! 😊

Good for you not making food/weight resolutions- I never do either! I hope you get to travel more like you want to ❤ my advice for oily skin is just heavily moisturize bc if you skimp on moisturizer, your skin makes its own oil to compensate & that's what will make your skin more oily. I would just suggest oil-free moisturizers for daytime use: the brand Farmacy has an awesome green one! Then heavier ones before bed to really get that moisture: Fourth Ray (Colourpop's sister brand) has a ton of affordable options! As far as eyelash glue, I only use Boldface glue. It's super sticky (as the name suggests), but bc it's water-based it doesn't take an army to remove it when you're taking off your makeup lol recommendation for clothes based on what you showed: Aerie! They have super cute stuff & usually have awesome sales running. Jeans suggestion would be saving up some $ to buy a pair from Good American- great option if you're smaller in the waist & wider in the hips/butt & no other jeans seem to fit right (they're the only brand that fit me correctly haha) 🤗💖 hope all that helps xoxo happy new year!

I agree with all your points about moisturizing! I just wanted to add on with the #1 thing that's really helped me out: oil cleansing. I do it every few days and my skin feels so nice afterward 🥰 there are loads of different oils you can use, depending on your skin type so it's worth researching. I use olive oil, sometimes mixed with a little bit of vitamin E oil, massage it into my face and neck for 15-20 minutes (which also just feels super nice after a long day tbh), and then wash it off in the shower. The Golden RX on KZbin has some really good skincare videos and she goes more into detail for anyone interested 🤗
