I like going into the small random thrift shops not the big ones anymore. You're more likely to find true vintage and the prices are more reasonable. I recently bought North Face and Lululemon jackets for 3 dollars at Plato's Closet for their 90 percent off sale. I am sure you have Plato's in San Diego. They are worth checking out on occasion especially when they have their sales.
