Fun fact: 911 was used as the number for emergency services because the numbers were so far apart on a rotary phone, people would be less likely to dial it by accident. (Also, I have one of those Titanic VHS box sets, now I have to check if it is still sealed because I feel like I never did open it..!)

Jake's is the EARLIEST and most competitive market when you are going to buy. I get there before 4am and there are more things that I want being carried around by OTHER PEOPLE by a large margin than what I find. So many times I have gone there to see something I would have really wanted being negotiated on by someone else.

Both my grandma's had rotary phones. I grew up in the 90's (born '88) and yes it took forever to dial. Also you totally missed the opportunity to sing the Thermos song from the Jerk. Since you got yourself a thermos lol.
