I just noticed I forgot to include the webcam and floppy drive in the last segment. The last segment was filmed way after the rest of the video was put together. I should have reviewed the footage again before filming. I do still have them, and they will appear in a upcoming video on the RA2 channel. Thanks for watching!

Yeah I still see them over at Target and book fairs to this day, they just changed the cover to look more modern. I prefer the older covers because I'm an older gen z with nostalgia bias but if kids today like the stories that's all that matters.

I’m a trucker and years ago I did some local LTL trucking and for awhile the company I worked for had a contract with Savers/Value Village and I’d have to go to the big warehouses and pick up loaded trailers and take them to different stores. These trailers were INSANELY heavy lol! Illegally heavy! Thankfully there were no weigh stations in the areas I’d have to go but until you’ve driven a semi and had a heavy heavy load when I say a 53 foot trailer packed floor to ceiling with random clothes and stuff….it is heavy lol! Can not express that enough. I remember my first trailer and it kinda creeped me out because there were like random clothes and baby doll heads and like a right foot flip flop that had fell off and gotten smashed and this stuff would be just laying on the ground next to the dock lol. And the workers would just use shovels and shovel random stuff off to the side lol! It was pretty crazy lol.

OMG!! Trauma triggered! You pulled out that 1996 Grammy CD and I went back to grade 8! My parents bought me a CD player for my birthday and gave me that CD as a gift to go with it! I was SO excited to have my very own CD player I was beaming with joy. Someone at the party commented that the song “You Outta Know” was on the CD and it wasn’t censored. (“She says the “f” word in that song!”) My mom immediately took the CD back in front of all my friends and I was so embarrassed. In 1996, that was a big deal. Hahaha! She also gave me Weird Al Yankovic’s Bad Hair Day tho so it all evens out. Lol

Back in the day, I had a CD Stomper because I worked with several local bands to promote their music. Fun fact: if you left those CDs in your car in the summer, the adhesive on the labels would get gummy and come off in your CD deck.

The color screen calibration thing is useful for graphic designers and video makers as the colors on your LCD screen can be different than the colors of a printer or on other people's screens for video. I am not sure how good that particular piece of software is but I know professionals use that technology.

I shopped at a Radio Shack this weekend for the first time in probably 10-15 years. I was near the one in Claremore, OK and had a few minutes to spare, so I stopped in. It was surprising to see that they had actual radio things on the shelf (antenna connectors, things like that), and that it didn't seem like a glorified cell phone store which is what most of their locations had become.

I think strait up gold coasters are more 80's than 90's. 90's decor would have been "gold-green patina" probably with turquoise trim. EDIT: Come to think of it, the 90's coaster holder also would have had a function that played "Enya" whenever you took a coaster out lol

Try WD40 to get the goo off. TEST it first! On a small area. Spray WD40 on a qtip and rub it in a little on the sticky goo and see if the adhesive starts to come out. You can clean up the WD40 afterwards with windex or whatever.

I haven't gone thrifting since the local Goodwill condensed its toys & media sections in order to fit in more women's clothing instead. They now make a comic series based on "Baby Sitter's Club." I read a Free Comic Book Day edition (last year, I think). I enjoyed it. 😊 Also, the books continued with the main characters' younger siblings aging up & taking over the club. I collected nearly all the OG series as a little girl. Then in college, I donated all but like 3 of the books to a children's charity. I hope some some kids had fun reading them!
