Elizabeth, I love everything about your videos! I love to see you thrifting with your Mom. My daughter and I like to do that together as well. However, it will be 2 years in December that we haven't been able to shop together. Her 7 year old , my grandson, is in treatment for leukemia. We are so thankful that he is in remission, however he won't complete his chemo treatment until next Frebruary. We are looking forward to the day when we will have more normal contact with them. And lots of hugs! Your channel has so blessed me. I love how you decorate with your finds. But most of all I love your Scripture at the end. Thank you, Elizabeth, for ministering to me.

I also watch bored and bananas as well. If I can’t thrift I can at least watch you young girls go junking. When we started collecting we were shopping for turn of the century furniture and oak was very popular. A lot of stuff then was being brought from the north as we live in Texas. They would bring big truck loads of stuff. We also collected depression glass and have a lot of it. Don’t see it much anymore but I’m starting to see some as you shop. Have fun.

Would be a weekend to my taste. :) You found really pretty things. I never would thrift pillows (the insert), only pillow covers, which can be thrown in the washing machine. This is only my personal preference. But even if I would not have bougth them, the pillows are lovely.

I love to look through the linens to see if they have the 100% cotton top sheets. I quilt and they make beautiful quilt backings.I am so excited when I find them. Also like the nice flannel top sheets for the same reason.

My thrift shops, vintage finds are rare and quality of items less than spectacular. It's fun to see your thrift stores as there are so many unique items on the shelves, I always see something in your videos I would love to bring home. Hi Elizabeth ~ what another amazing haul, where to start ! The Cloche, the Lamps, the curtain panel… love that texture and colors! The Wire Gathering Basket…. Wonderful! I need to come to Michigan for a week to Shop! I watch 4 ladies on You Tube from Michigan and what incredible finds! Love seeing you shop with your Mom….brings back memories of being with my Mom and the precious times together. I’m headed in this next week for an eye surgery ( praying to get my vision back )…. My anxiety is high with this all. How I pray for God to calm my soul. It is the recovery that is going to be hard, up to 6 weeks….flat on my stomach, face down. Only up when necessary. I’m not a good patient for laying still. If I’m missing in comments…I have not left… just not seeing the keyboard to type good. I reread all comments about 3 times because autocorrect TYPES for me…🫤. Beautiful video as always Elizabeth ! God Bless ! 🌻🙏🌻

Jayne Brown - read your comment & said a prayer for you for your surgery next week - it certainly does sound like a very trying recovery period, but God willing, it will be worth it afterward for you - did the dr. say if it will take the whole 6 weeks before you know if the surgery was a success ? @@Melody-285 OH….THANK YOU for the prayers I deeply, deeply appreciated every one. No, the recovery could take 6 weeks. I will return to the Doctor the next morning after surgery., then weekly for checking on progress. One hard part is the surgery is 2 hours away from my home. Riding home will be a challenge with keeping my head DOWN. I have “ hip bones, a metal plate and screws in 4 levels of my neck. It doesn’t bend like most peoples. I have a pinned up shoulder and a lower back that needs surgery. SO…this recovery will be a nightmare for pain in those areas. I sleep in a recliner because I can not lay flat and have for over 10 years. So when the Dr said FACE DOWN for up to 6 weeks… I think I went mentally blank…..😢 Then when this surgery is healed , I can have the cataract surgery and hopefully see again,drive again and and be the independent person I have been. It went very fast. Within a 6-8 month period. Then the last 3 weeks very, very fast. I truly truly “Thank you” for your kindness and prayers. I am sort of shocked at my anxiety over this. I have had some tough things to walk through, help people through , surgeries on myself, some hard medical testing that were painful,etc…. But this face down for possibly 6 weeks is consuming me. Again…THANK YOU !

Just a suggestion, I would be tempted to see what that looked like as a coverlet for a bed, for Fall first, bf cutting it up to make pillows. Hi Elizabeth, The baby bed is called a bassinet. I saw one that was decked out in baby blue gingham and embroidered lace I think you would have liked. It wasn’t over the top, but done very tastefully. Love the stores up there. I wish I could come back and hit them all! Thanks for sharing!
