I'm from Jacksonville, Florida and I got my PEBT for my son in June. I applied for food stamps and got denied and one day the white pandemic EBT card showed up. But I have not gotten anymore money on it since I first received it in June. I figured that was going to happen so I just hold on to it and use it sparingly. It's a big help and I wish I could have it all the time.

How did your daughter get a medical card? I don't qualify for medical card because the qualifications are: pregnant....children in the household under 18....over 65 or disabled. I am NONE of those 😢

@@shannoncollins9030 she filled out over the internet and application cuz you couldn't go in because everything's under quarantine at the time she didn't qualify for any cash snap or link just a middle card she's 38 years old and she's a server. She went back to work and I'm not kidding she's making no money at all. The people that are going out to eat downtown Chicago perhaps they can't afford it but they're trying to get out of the house some of them not all of them. Are so cheap there not even tipping so now she's not even making minimum wage which is $13 an hour I forget what a server makes an hour so she lost a lot of money. If you can't go out to eat and tip don't go out because the servers live on their tips they have to literally claim their sales a percentage of what they sell in one day whether they make it or not they are taxed on it and it comes out of their hourly check

Honestly I don't know I'm in the state of Chicago Illinois I'm not sure what state you're in I don't know if it's just because of the pandemic and what the case is why she qualified. It also could be because she does have an autoimmune disease celiac which I don't understand because she could use the food stamps I'm going to a doctor right now is out of the question who wants to go to a hospital with a virus. She filled it out and it just showed up in the mail. She has no children she's single I know it took me years to get one I had to get a lawyer because I'm on disability. I've been under quarantine myself now for months I do all face chats with the specialist over the phone I have a lung disease. And I'm only 57 years old it hit me one day out of the blue going to work. But it took me two years with the lawyer just to get disability and any help at all. Our system is screwed up royally. Don't get me wrong I'm very happy that my daughter has it because she does need medication and needs to go to a doctor but she lives on a special diet because of it. It would have been nice if they would have given her the link she's not making any money working she went right back to work as soon as they opened up the restaurants she didn't stay home on unemployment like other people. She's a go-getter but like I said these people dining out eating out when is people that don't have money to pay their rent or their food or anything and they have children it's horrible. And the people that do dine out they don't even tip. And servers today they don't make minimum wage they don't have to make half of that they live off their tips and they have to claim a percentage of what they sell even if they don't make it because when you punch in you punching under your social security number and the government has it automatically so let's say if you sell $2,000 worth of food on your shift you have to claim 20% of it automatically the government knows you made it whether the people leave it or not she went to work her first day when they opened up Pier in Chicago she works downtown where it's most dangerous with this virus tourism what little of it is. Need $8 and it takes her to buses in a train to get to work in two buses and a train just to get home so she lost money in the process. And she cannot reapply for unemployment she won't receive that $600 cuz she did go back to work Anna scares me I go without because I try to help her as much as possible but your question again only God knows why she got it. If you don't know what WIC is it is a program just like the Link card but they give you coupons to go to the store you get to buy whatever's on the coupons milk bread fruit vegetables it tells you what you can buy cereal and then once the child is born you'll get coupons to buy formula for the month you get eggs. So I really can't answer your question properly I know this is a lot to take in. But I pray to God you do get something it's not right that there's people out there receiving checks and their deceased I didn't even get a stimulus check and I'm on disability and I know many people that are that received one. my prayers are with you I hope something shows up in the mail for you. The only thing I can say is go back on the site again reapply again these case workers are so behind on their caseloads yours is probably still sitting there. Stay safe be extremely careful being pregnant my prayers are with you

(3) Over 65....(4) Disabled....I AM NOT ANY OF THE 4 MENTIONED! I am a 50 year old single female. Correction the additional benefits is for snap case only not the Pandemic-EBT card they only gave money one time that can be confusing for some ONLY if you get food stamps regular you will get the additional benefits now. The Pandemic-EBT is the school benefits. 😘😘

Hmmm, I can tell you they started in April and mostly everyone on EBT is getting them. Yep, they expanding them a bit farther because, of the kids , a lot of them aren't going back to school do to the new regulations. They also done this as well because, there has been a food shortage at Food Banks. And, they do call it Covid benifits. I yes, have been reviecing them since, April and, I have no children in my home. I get my regular benifit on top of the additional pandemic benifit. Indiana has not received a cash benifit.

I didn't have to apply for anything I get $60 a month because of my disability and I get it on the 17th and $126 show. On the 10th plus I still get the $68 on my regular date as well

If you get any foodstamps you're supposed to be getting the maximum that it is allow for one person for your state I know Florida is $194 for one person because my son is on disability and before all this he was only getting $16 but since the pandemic he's been getting the maximum allowed and that's $194 might want to check with your state to see what the maximum is cuz that's what your supposed to be getting

I get my ebt on the 2nd of the month. Last month we got the extra on the 6th. This month it was the 10th. Next month it will be on there on the 13th (if the schedule is correct). I haven't gotten the extra the same day as regular

Prime shipping takes longer now cause of the COVID19, so it is longer than 2 days. Amazon should give discounts for prime members. Cause it takes a week now to get our prime shipments. Even with just ordering essentials. Just says

Well, good for y’all. We always didn’t have a problem. Since covid19 it has delayed every order we have made. And plus we have been without transportation and not getting what we need in 2 to 3 days is tough cause it takes a week for a prime delivery right now. On food and etc. don’t matter what we order. Just found out a month ago we can get prime for half the price cause we have EBT. Forgot to change it to the cheaper one and we pay over $13 for prime. But gonna make darn sure we get it for $5.99 plus tax or however the price cause we can’t afford to pay the $13 and having to wait a week for our food and toilet paper.

Thank you for being on top of everything ! I had no idea about the app for snap benefits a couple months ago. You enlightened me to that. I was using my credit card to buy food be sure I thought I had no benefits left for the month. Because of you I opened the app and found out my family of 6 had nearly $2,000! I circled two days ago and going nothing extra , just my usual amount for the month of July. Then today I find out we get our max amount ! Thank you so much for telling us all right away!! I live in Pennsylvania & u can also apply online. I was already receiving snap benefits, food stamps & medical for my son & I bcuz I’m on SSDI. I got the maximum allowed for 1 child, which is $339 + the amount I was receiving b4 the pandemic. I got it in April, May, June & July. It’s helping sooo much! Food goes very quickly when ur restricted to ur home. Especially when u have a growing teenager!

No. They said that it's supposed to be a one time payment, but I would still hold on to that card because once they see that most parents won't be letting their children go back they might have to give more P-EBT benefits. So I strongly encourage you ma'am to just wait and see as I am too here with my kids in new orleans.

Thank u dear young lady. I'm a senior in PA, but the normal amount hit my card earlier this month, which is a very tiny amount. Yet June I got a big deposit, which has been a blessing. @@tinaharrell3079 actually NEW YORK does get it atleast the kids do I cant speak on anything else but that my kids and I only receive Medicaid and they also get free lunch at school and just today the 16th I received 1260.oo foodstamps 😇😇 I no we will be eating good for awhile I am so happy we def needed it and it came right on time. From what I was told if u receive anything may it be Medicaid foodstamps or cash it will go on that card automatically for the people that do not receive anything already the kids are listed in the system and they will mail those people cards in the kids name I believe

They did my friend like that, she started getting $200 a week for unemployment, and she said they drop her from $200 monthly stamps to $16.

They did that to us too! We are a family of 7 but now only have 3 qualifying children out of 5. My worker said I'm getting extra $600 and I'm like well now with those extra 600 I'm having to buy food for all of us.
