Well ... this was a "debut" song released many years ago ;) . You'll fit right in as our MAIDs love to eat, drink, and share as you will see as you fall deeper into the pigeon hole :) . Not K-Pop or J-Pop, but hard rock. BAND MAID is: Miku Kobato (小鳩 ミク) - rhythm guitar, vocals, PR (Band founder, lyricist ... our flappy pigeon, po!) Kanami Tōno (遠乃 歌波) - lead guitar (musical composer extraordinaire - the princess) Akane Hirose (廣瀬 茜) - drums, percussion (see bananas ... and ramen - the gorilla) Misa - bass guitar (drinks hard liquor and performs without shoes on stage - the barefoot assassin) Saiki Atsumi (厚見 彩姫) - lead vocals ("we dance in the palm of her hand" - Domination - The Queen)

Their skirts have gotten longer with age. I was told it's cultural. Band-Maiko is a good example of their respect for tradition. You did a nice reaction.Thank you.

Thanks for the reaction. This is the song MV that saved the band: due to lack of sales of their first album their management was considering dropping them, the guitarist and the drummer were already practicing in another band. They scrapped enough money to put this video together. The video didn't are well until a DJ in Mexico played it, after that it got 2 million views in just a couple of weeks. The band dropped their label, they have changed labels a couple of time but now have their own - Maidit. The only change to the band was the addition of Saiki as lead vocalist.

That's not quite accurate. Unknown to the band at the time, their management company (Platinum Passport) was considering dropping them or splitting them up (I'm not sure what their talent contracts allowed for at the time) due to the band's early struggles with concert attendance and low sales of their first album. The band released a three song single and their management company (who also owned their record label, iirc) decided to produce a music video from that single. The band chose to make the video for one of the B-side songs instead of the A-side because they felt that it represented the musical direction they wanted to pursue. Thus, the video to "Thrill" was produced, generating a positive response, but then really taking off when it was posted on a Facebook page promoting J-rock. The band got a great response in Mexico and the United States, which eventually led to increased recognition in Japan. They also moved to larger record labels, but stayed with the same management company until this year, when Platinum Passport was basically dissolved by its parent company, Platinum Productions. Rather than moving to another subsidiary of Platinum Productions, Band-Maid decided to form their own management company, Maidit Ltd. As for the rest, Akane (drums) and Kanami (lead guitar) were placed in the acoustic group Mochi to Cheese (Mochi and Cheese) by Platinum Passport along with three members of the idol group Predia, also managed by Platinum Passport. This was a side project and possibly a backup plan by management, but due to both Band-Maid and Predia having some success, Mochi and Cheese was ended in 2015. One of the other members of Mochi and Cheese (also named Akane) is now the vocalist of Easter of Eden. Band-Maid has maintained the same lineup throughout their careers, with Miku (band founder), Kanami, Akane, and Misa being the original lineup. They played three concerts in July and August of 2013, with Saiki joining in time for their fourth performance, also in August 2013. Misa (bass guitar) considered leaving in early 2014 but decided to stay with them.

Hey my good friend LILYAN. How are you ? In the last 10 months I tipped requested you 4x , so not many times. ONE of the songs (MCND) you watched personally : No problem , of course. The other 3 you promised 2 x to react to. ( You said you were busy and I understand!) . But in the mean time you uploaded many MANY NEWER songs ( at least 20) , so I do not understand. I decided , after many years of faithful subscription and supporting and promoting - NOT to bother you anymore and I wish you all the best. STAY healthy and have a fantastic life with all your other 1300 subs. Thanks for all your uploads. Take care . JOER NL

Saiki sings, “I turn my earphones up. Nothing can beat the ecstasy of living with this Thrill.” And Miku sings, “A pigeon traces an arc in the shrunken sky.” No matter what song you're listening to, with Band-Maid the surprises and thrills ain't never gone. 🤘😉Thx, Lilyanyan!
