Loved it all. My younger Sister & I were traveling on Good Friday, drove to Arizona for our other Sister's birthday on Saturday. She can't get out and around much d/t having just finished cancer treatments & needing to stay close to the house. We took 2 days to travel so we could do some shopping. Salvation Army in Casa Grande had great prices, but Goodwill had added some retail items, and their donated goods were pricey. On our return trip, we stopped in Palm Springs, found a few well-priced thrift stores, but their Goodwill was also a bit pricey (altho' not like the Casa Grande store.) ---On those rare occasions I've run in to our Goodwill store on a time limit (for any odd reason!), it was usually just enough time to scout out the store. I'm impressed with what you managed to film in your 10 minutes! I hope Hubby was impressed as well!

I love vintage and antiques and thrifting. I have,however,become angry at how people are exploiting others,by buying items very cheap and reselling at exuberant prices. I shop for my home. I undrerstand the resell business,but I am happy to watch someone,who actually buys for pleasure and not to resell for a profit. I do agree,that some of The GOODWILL PRICES HAVE BECOME OUTRAGEOUS!! I am a baby boomer generation and I wish,I had known about thrift stores and yard sales when.I got married 57 years ago. I knew about Auctions. Now,I have been downsizing for 20 years and have reached the time,in my life that I am a minimalist.so I rarely shop. I do love to go to the thrift stores but the prices have just become higher than the retail,online shopping. I do love the items you purchased. That store was high!! There were two of those bookends,the metal ones,are always taped together. I would have bought them. I will buy one,and used as an end ,when I put books up to the exact wall or shelf. I also flat base,as a little holder,for miniture decore. I take my time before,I get rid ofanything,because,I will watch the videos and see very creative ideas.. I do get inspiration from watching.

It is insane what our economy is like…. No souvenir plates from New York State, why am I not surprised ? I wouldn’t visit here either ! I agree about the wood tray being up on the wall.
